So a bunch of you- 12 to be exact- are just chilling one day when your esteemed moderator, vikingfan, announces: "Folks, it's time for a game of Mafia."

At first, some people are hesitant to play, but they are convinced when vikingfan sends a mysterious letter to each member informing them of who they are and what their objective is. After everyone (hopefully) confirmed, enthusiasm filled the air.

"You know," one player said, "it's not really fair to start with night. Not when we all love this game so much. Let's begin with day."

The motion carried with unanimous acclaim. "Let's get lynching!" was the universal cry. Except, of course, for some unsavory characters who just as soon would have preferred cutting people of the game...permanently.

The Rules (Stolen from Big Kahunia):

Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold you vote it will not count.

Please unvote before casting a new vote. (Unvote in bold also). Otherwise, it won't be counted.

A lynch requires that one player has votes from more than half of the current players. Once the player has the required number of votes the lynch is inevitable and nothing can save them.

You may vote for a "no lynch". A vote of this kind from more than half of the current players is required to end the day.

Do not discuss this game outside of this thread, unless your role or a PM from me specifically says that you may do so. Please also refrain from discussing your role and/or any game happenings with any of the other players (whether you or they are dead or alive), for as long as the game is still running.

Only live players may post in this game.

Do not edit or delete any of your submitted posts.

Do not quote your role directly (word for word) or any other PMs or emails from me. If so, a mod-kill will result.

If you have a night choice, it is due before the posted deadline. If your choice is not submitted to me by this time, no choice will be made.

If you anticipate being unavailable for more than 48 hours, please post a notification in this thread. Please treat this game as a commitment to the other players and contribute regularly.

Play to win and give it your best! Please do your part to make the game enjoyable for everyone. Please also note that personal insults and abuse of other players will not make the mod happy.

If you have any questions, PM me! I may or may not respond to questions in the thread, but I will certainly reply to any PMs.

I should post a vote count, ever so often, maybe every page. Please feel free to request one should you deem it necessary. If I'm going to be unavailable for more than a day, I'll post that information.

I am always right, but not always accurate. If I've made a mistake, please tell my by email as soon as possible. If you try to notify me in thread, I'll have to edit your post and you will most likely be mod-killed; this especially corresponds to correcting my grammar/omitting words. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

When/if a deadline occurs, the player with the requisite number of votes is lynched. If no player qualifies, it is a nolynch. If two players are tied at deadline, the first one there is lynched.

Since we start in day, I'll lock the thread until all 12 PMs come in. All PMs have been sent. The quicker all of them come in, the quicker day starts.

Everyone has confirmed so Day 1 begins. viQLes has informed me via V/LA that he will be away until sometime late next week due to a funeral.

That's why I voted for him now, I've been in 2, maybe 3 games with
him so far and have not once voted for him. I wanted to vote for him at least once, and if I was to wait for him to say somthing scummy, I'd be waiting all game...
