Ah, yes, the random voting stage of the game. How could I forget?

Coron, Mastermind of Sin, Tyfo: Please tell me in 25-50 words why you are innocent.

Iammars: Write 25-50 words on why random voting is a good way to start a Mafia game. Then write 25-50 words on why random voting is a waste of time.

Well, laughing at other’s assignments gets me assignments for several reasons. However, the main one is because pansies like Mastermind of Sin can not do their own assignments, so they want someone whose smooth like me too copy off. Another reason, is because it makes people like Mastermind of Sin miserable, and misery loves company. However, I will not be brought down by that. So I will remain happy. Another reason is it was just a ploy, and I really wanted an assignment. However I did not realize mine was going to be longer. I need one more word: Shaaaaaaazam.

^100 words exactly

Hm, MoS has already written 27 words since I gave him his "assignment", yet he is too busy? Clearly he is trying to avoid giving himself away.

(Note: I am travelling most of the day tomorrow and most of the day Thursday, will probably be shopping most of the day Wednesday, and who knows whether I'll have an internet connection while we're in Tennessee. I will probably still post somewhat regularly, but in case I don't, you'll know why.)

I'll roll w/ it.
unvote, vote: MoS

Generally, a hider will target someone each night, and he hides with them. He won't die if he's targetted normally, but will die if the person he's targetting dies. Because of that I don't think it would.

It could also be unable to be killed on odd or even nights.

Random vote: Tyfo
although Mastermind of Sin sounds more appropriate to vote for in this case ;)

Iammars, would you mind explaining what a "Random No Vote" is? I can think of two separate explanations, with two totally different consequences, but I'd rather know what you meant than guess at it.

Random voting is a good way to start the game because players have to spill information, and sometimes humor results from the consenquent votes. some players have been revealed as scum by their random votes.
Random votes is a waste of time because any information that can be gained from random voting is eaisly WIFOM'd by scum and we are more likely to reveal information to the scum than to recieve information.

And a random no vote expresses the fact that I want to vote for everyone else but mith.

Are we thinking "Cowardly Reporter" or "Commuter"? Since neither makes any sense in this setting.

Placeholder Vote: No Lynch

I'm present, I'm not seeing anyone acting excessively suspicious, (except maybe Mith's 'teacher'-mode with the essays...?) and I'm hoping not to get slammed down for lurking. My vote is only a temporary until someone either acts suspicious enough to earn it, or someone makes a good case for why I should vote for another particular individual. I'm not advocating a no-lynch, just keeping my vote from accidentally killing someone should the day move quickly.

Every game with Fritzler in it should have this rule added:

Every bandwagon starts with 2 votes on it. If a new wagon starts, the last old wagon loses 1 vote.....
