Fundamental Rules
0. The moderator is always right, unless he is wrong.
1. All site-wide rules apply. If you break them, you will be modkilled immediately and may be banned from my future games. (I won’t modkill for trust tells since this is a bastard game, but if you’re suspended or banned from the site, you will be modkilled.)
2. Do not discuss ongoing games, and do not discuss this game (in detail) outside the game thread, unless your role PM specifically says you can do so. Private communications with me are always welcome.
3. Do not quote your role PM or any private communication.
4. This game begins on Day 1.
Voting
5. I recommend that you bold your votes, in the form
VOTE: FunkyBike1 or
VOTE: FunkyBike1
. This is not required, but I do appreciate it, as it helps me to not miss them.
6. Unvotes aren't necessary, but I do appreciate them.
7. No Lynch is a valid vote.
8. As long as I think it looks like a vote, and I can figure out who you're voting for, it counts.
9. The moderator cannot be lynched. Believe me; it's been done.
Lynching and Death
10. Once a player reaches a majority of the votes, that player will be lynched. All lynches are final, and will not be overturned.
11. If 50% of players vote to "no lynch," the game will proceed to Night without a lynch.
12. Do not post after you’re dead. (Lynched players may make one "bah" post that does not contain game-related information.)
Deadlines and Activity
13. Prods will be issued after 72 hours of not posting, and each 24 hours after that. If you receive 3 prods in a day or 4 over the course of the game, you will be replaced.
14. Let me know in-thread if you are V/LA for an extended time. If you’re V/LA for more than 14 days, please request a replacement.
15. Deadlines for game Days are 14 real-life days. The deadline may be extended by up to 72 hours in the case of a replacement.
16. Each Night will last 72 hours unless shortened by me. Nights will not be shortened to less than 12 hours.
17. If the deadline passes without a majority vote, the player with the most votes will be lynched.
18. If there is a tied vote at the deadline, the player who reached that vote total first will be lynched, unless there are 6 or less living players, in which case nobody is lynched. This is done to encourage lynching early in the game. If nobody has any votes on them, a random Town-aligned player will be lynched.
Other
19. My color is Orange (#FF8000). Do not use it.
20. No cryptography, invisible text, et cetera.
21. Role PMs trump these rules. For example, if I say you must quote your role PM in your first post, you will not be modkilled for it.

24. Remember, this is a bastard game. It is not guaranteed to be fair, only entertaining. The only guarantee I can give you is that the Town will have at least 2 chances to lynch unless the power roles really screw up.
