Your little town (population: 12) has too much scum in it! Two werewolves are killing people at night. Three mafia long to try their hand at the same thing, as soon as the werewolves are off the streets. One lyncher has an inexplicable grudge against another townsperson, hoping to get him lynched and then flee the town. The town has a single cop and five other innocents. How can they possibly prevail? Maybe by lynching two people per day...?

There is 1
There are 5You are theCop. At the beginning of the game, and then every night, you may investigate one player. You will learn whether they are Mafia, Werewolf, or neither.
You win when all Mafia and Werewolves are dead and at least one pro-town player is still alive.
There are 3You are aTownie. You don't have a night action: You must endeavor during the day to get the scum lynched. One of the five Townies is the Lyncher's target.
You win when all Mafia and Werewolves are dead and at least one pro-town player is still alive.
There are 2X, Y, and Z areMafia. You may talk to each other in the night. You cannot kill at night until the two Werewolves are dead. Then you three may kill one player per night.
You win only if Mafia constitute a full majority of remaining players,orMafia constitute half of remaining players, and there are more Mafia than Werewolves left.
There is 1X and Y areWerewolves. You may talk to each other in the night. Every night, you two may kill one player of your choosing.
You win only if Werewolves constitute a full majority of remaining players,orWerewolves constitute half of remaining players, and there are more Werewolves than Mafia left.
You are theLyncher. You have no night abilities. Your target is X, who is a Townie. You only win if you live to see X lynched by the town. You exit the game if this occurs. Note that the town does not need to lynch you: You lose if the game ends before you have succeeded in getting X lynched.
However, if X is nightkilled (or modkilled) before you die, you become pro-town. If this happens, you win when all Mafia and Werewolves are dead and at least one pro-town player is still alive.
You may also voluntarily become pro-town. Any night, you may repent of your grudge against X. (You might want to submit this early, since I don't plan to wait to see if you choose this.) If you survive the night, you will then have the pro-town winning condition (only). There is no way to reverse this.
Clarifications:
1. In the actual PM, "X" is replaced by a player's name.
2. The first paragraph could be read to mean that the lyncher always has a special lose condition. This isn't accurate. If the lyncher becomes pro-town, his win/lose condition is identical to a townie's, and it becomes irrelevant whether X survives the game.
The game starts in day, but with Cop Headstart.
The day is split into Morning and Afternoon, so that the town may lynch two people per day. Role will be revealed after every lynch. If the town votes "No Lynch," the game will go into Night.
If the Lyncher satisfies his independent win condition, the town is so enraged over his treason that there will be a third "Evening" phase that day where a third person may be lynched.
The roles of nightkilled players are not revealed to anyone. Only alignment (Mafia/Werewolf/neither) will be revealed.
The roles of lynched players are revealed immediately.
No draws are possible. If all pro-town players are dead, and both scum factions have the same number of players alive, they kill each other and everybody loses (except possibly the lyncher). (The mafia are not scared of wolves during the day.)
The game will never go to night when all town players are dead. For instance, if all non-wolf non-mafia players were to drop dead immediately, the mafia's win condition would be satisfied.
The game will not end prematurely, even if winning has become impossible for certain players.
If you have any questions about the mechanics of this game, or any role, or the PMed messages I may or may not send, feel free to ask me by PM or in-thread. There are no secrets. (I will try to not insert commentary on the rules without being asked, because that can appear to be an attempt to confirm or discredit someone.)
