Activity Rules


1. Give notice for V/LA and indicate the time period it will be for.
2. If you have not posted in 48 hours, you will be prodded
3. Failure to post within 24 hours of a prod will result in your replacement.
4. Three prods and you're replaced.
5. Days will last 10 real world days and nights will last 48 real life hours.

Voting


1. Lynches result from %50 + 1 votes.
2. Only votes in the BOLD or VOTE tags will count
3. If there is no majority at a day end deadline, no lynch will occur
4. Do NOT post the day after your lynched or killed, not even for a "darn it!" post.

Game specific rules


1. Two roles will be randomly generated from the Greater Idea wiki role list (LINK HERE) for each player. Each player will choose one to be their role and discard the other.
2. The discarded roles will be publically disclosed at game start.
3. There must be atleast ONE anti-town role, but no more than FOUR. Town is guaranteed a majority at start.
4. If there is not enough or too many anti-town roles, the roles will be randomly generated again and the process started over.

God Mod Rule


1. If I say it, it is law until I say otherwise. This includes adding rules if I missed something.

Example Role PM:

Vanilla Townie

You are a Vanilla Townie.
Abilities

-During the Day, you may vote for whomever you want lynched.
-During the Night, you may sleep.
Win Condition

-You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated and at least one Town-aligned player is still alive, or nothing can prevent the same.

Not thrilled with Guyett either. Not as bad as Hermy, since Alien Prober sounds like a less-fun job.

I have played a good few games like this

flick through my wiki there as the links are there. Pretty much all are in the completed micro's section.

Turned down roles can be used sometimes as a method of hunting for scum but you have to take into account whether or not a person prefers to play as a certain alignment. Also if they turned down something excessively good like TownBloodhound they could well be scum

Alien Prober - The role is semi useful, the roleblocking bit is good but the cop aspect is useless imo.
Vanilla Townie - useless in this game
Tourist - compulsively targets a player each night with no effect. basically the miller version for trackers
FBI Agent - Basically a cop but this is useless in a game with so many anti town factions.
Evangelistic Townie - the cult version of miller.... horrible role
Alien Psychomagnet - this role can be quite effective for an alien faction but aliens suck balls. Only one faction kill in the game is terrible
Town Miller - terrible role
Vanilla Townie - useless
Vanilla Cop - in a game where most people will have power roles this is a fecking useless role

It is not hard to see why most of these were discarded as most are useless.
Only 1 faction kill but the lightning-rod thing is effectively a second night kill plus a global roleblock provided there are no doctors and there is another scum faction. Would you have chosen this role over your own if you had the opportunity?

I enjoy town most but I do like werewolf as a scum alignment (I've had a lot more success as WW than mafia)

@Looker, a lot of these have been run if you browse the Micro page. There was recently an aborted Mini 1506 Greatest Idea as well; not sure if you'll find many of these outside the Micro forum though.

@XScorpion, I generally prefer town, especially in a small set-up like this where being scum can mean going it solo.

@Desperado, do you think someone would hammer Hermy without warning here? Would you be more willing to put her at L-1 on page two?
