Welcome to Micro 296!


Rule Set:

1. Site Rules; know them, follow them.
2. Red is my colour, don't use it.
3. Prods go out approximately three days without a post and I start looking for a replacement after approximately thirty six hours.
4. Votes should follow the format of Vote: Player Name.
5. As the mod I reserve the right to change anything at anytime.

Set Up:

2 Vanilla Townies
2 Mafia Goon

Sample Role PM's:
Vanilla Townie Role PM wrote:Welcome to Micro 296! You are a Vanilla Townie!

Abilities:
If you are lynched day 1, you are not lynched and must choose a player to kill.

Win condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
Scum Goon Role PM wrote:Welcome to Micro 296! You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name]!

Abilities:
If you are lynched day 1, you must confirm one of the town players as town. You may communicate with your partner during the day as well.

Win condition:
You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.


Special Mechanics:

- Nightless
- If a townie is lynched day 1, he does not get lynched and instead chooses a player to kill.
- If a mafia member is lynched day 1, he has to confirm one of the town players as town.
- If there is one scum and one town left, it is a scum victory.

What other game? I never played with you before.

It's the best vote because it gives the best odds to town.

Voting blind:
- 50% chance to lynch scum D1
- - if scum is lynched, 33% chance to hit scum D2

Voting me and conf me as town:
- 66,66 % chance to hit scum with my vengeful kill D1
-- 50% chance to lynch scum D2

I see no why the game should played differently.

On the wiki there is a game of this that was played before. It is like 7 pages.

Your math is wrong.

Lynch scum D1 and they have to confirm one town player making it a 50/50 shot for the confirmed player.

Assuming you aren't lying if you shoot wrong we lose. If you shoot right then it is a 50/50 shot just like it would be if we lynched scum D1.

No matter what it is the best idea to lynch blindly because at the end of the day 1 town person is going to be confirmed but instead of it be 2-2 with a compulsive vig it is 2-1 giving scum less chance to get a mislynch.

Hum I missed the maf conf one townie part. But still,

Voting blind is still:
- 50% D1
- if scum is lynched, 50% D2

Whereas with vengeful kill it's 66% and 50%.

And I'm good at finding scum

beast I don't understand what you are saying, why you say it's 2-1 with the vengekill. I don't die anyway if I get lynched, so it's still 2-2, but with one conf townie. So what?

But you are wrong, I expect my chances of finding scum to be actually higher than 66,66%, if left by myself.
But lynching blind, I have to deal with scum manipulation which lower my chances drastically, which I don't need to if I get the vengeful kill.

I said 2-1 because it would be a compulsive vig so no matter what someone has to die at that point. I don't know if use of the dayvig ends the cycle though.

If you are town aren't you chances of finding the scum already 66%?
