The item's ability only takes affect the night after you get the item, otherwise the chronolgy would be shot to hell.

Having to vote for seven items during day is boring, I want night now. Can we all come up with a compromise on which items we want and then just avoid the whole tedious voting process? We won't even have to decide on all seven items at the same time, but I'm sure there's three or four or twenty items we can all agree on right now. I think sherlock holmes and barney video are pretty sure bets to put in and bright red thong has two votes already. So instead of making it an either-or situation which this craptastic voting process does. Why not caucus together and we can put them all in?

Then again, I do see the purpose of it. If someone voted an item in, they might be more likely to choose it at night. Then the opposite viewpoint should be - with seven items to vote in, there's no way of predicting what people will end up choosing unless you're awesome at analyzing consumer trends.

But let's make this process quicker than it has to be. alright?
