You are town with one advantage: you can fly up so that anyone targeting you with a knife will not succeed.

Dragon Slayer=DOCTOR JECKYLL AND MISTER HYDE
You are a doctor with a twist. If the one you protect gets targeted once, you save him (multiple kills will kill). If the one you protect does not get targeted, Mr. Hyde takes over and you kill him. You cannot protect yourself. You do not have to submit a choice every night.

indentureddjinn=THE HUSTLER
One night during the game you can mix things up completely. Everyone who makes a choice that night will effectively make a choice for the player next in the alphabetic player list.

Stewie=APOCALYPSE NOW
You are a suicide vigilante - if you want you can blow up yourself and one player of your choice (send me an email if you want to do this).

Coolbot=ROBOCOP II
You are a spare cop. If ROBOCOP I dies, you take over. From that point on you become a cop: every night you can check one player and get the result guilty/not guilty or similar words. A Godfather will appear not guilty.

Totem/d8P=THE FUGITIVE
Your skills of running away can come in handy. Every night you feel like it, you can hide with the player of your choice. If someone targets you, you survive. If someone targets your host, you die as well (unless a doc protects your host). If you hide with a scum, nothing happens to you. Email me whenever you want to use this power.

Captain Blicero=DOCTOR DOLITTLE
You are a lazy doctor, and won抰 do anything until another doctor dies. You then become a regular doctor, who can protect one player each night. If the one you protect gets targeted once, you save him (multiple kills will kill). You cannot protect yourself.

mith=THE THIN MAN
You are town with one advantage: you are so thin that anyone targeting you with a gun will miss you.

Leonidas=CARRIE
You are a vigilante. Whenever you want, you can kill a player at night with your telekinetic powers. That will leave you so tired that the next day you can post only once.

MeMe=BAMBI
You have the same (nick)name as the mod's wife. As a result, whomever kills you at night will be mod-killed. If you get lynched, the player casting the deciding vote will get mod-killed.

The rules:

[01] Have fun and don't be a jerk. Please have consideration for the other players and the mod, and actually PLAY the game by posting and voting.
[02] No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so and then only in the game's nights.
[03] Get your choices in before the deadlines. If not, a random choice will be made for the first night, and no choice for subsequent nights.
[04] No quoting my or others emails/messages.
[05] If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that.
[06] Lynching will be carried out once a regular majority is reached - and cannot be undone by unvoting. If I impose a day deadline, lynching will require at least half of the regular majority. In case of a tie, first come first served.
[07] Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Please clearly unvote if you want to change your vote.
[08] Do NOT edit or delete your posts! If you made a coding error, just post again.
[09] Do NOT post in invisible text.
[10] The mod is always right. Accept the decisions, and if you want to discuss them, take it to email, or do so after the game has finished.

Additional rules for this game:

[11] Until the end game (8 players or less), you are NOT allowed to post or hint at the name of your role. All you can say is "cop-like", "doc-like", "mason-like", "vigilante-like" or "townie-like".
[12] Under no circumstance are you allowed to paraphrase my wording of your winning conditions (let's not have some of that drivel I've seen recently, like "what's the third word in the townie's winnig conditions?").

Players who do not abide by these rules will be mod-killed.

DAY 1
The sun rises over Tinseltown, but three classic movies will be played no more.

Braveheart

(Blackhawk) was reasonably confident as he knew that whatever else would happen, no-one would scare him to death.

The Birds

(Flying Dutchman) was just as confident, as his flying power would yield him invulnerable against knife attacks. They grinned at eachother as they saw two killers approaching them... a knife-wielding Corleone mafiosi and the scary monster from Alien. Unfortunately for the town, the killers each approached the victim that they could kill. Two down, one to go. The third victim of the night is

Doctor Jeckyll and Mister Hyde

(Dragon Slayer). A simple bullet ended his life, the last thing he heard was a whispered "who knows... maybe there is a Bond in your midst as well for us to kill...". Bad news for the town: all deaths are on the town's side.

With 22 players left, 12 to lynch.

Wow, that's a really lousy start. Two autoprotected townies killed by the wrong Mafia.
What's even worse is the Alien monster is in the game . That really scared the shit out of me first time I saw the movie.

It looks like we have 3 Mafia groups. That seems like a lot to me even with 25 players. DP probably balanced it with the autoprotected townies instead of regular ones.

Yeah, not only did none of the evil kill other evil, they even went out of their way to kill the wrong townies. So I guess there's a group of monster movies, a group of bond movies, and the trio of godfather movies? (Note that these could be groups of 1). 3 mafia groups of 2? 3-1-1? 3-2-1? Contact?

If I had to peg any one player for going after one of the newly deceased, I'd have to say bloojay going after blackhawk:

Well, the problem with the movie groups is that any of them could be three or more. There's three Godfather movies, there's FOUR Alien movies, and while there's 20 Bond movies, only four of them are named for the actual villains in the movie (Dr. No, Goldfinger, The Man with the Golden Gun, and Octopussy) (and that last one is debatable, I imagine). I guess the Alien one seemed most likely to be a solo kill ... DP's description listed it as "the monster from Alien" but the opening posts says "scared by monsterS" (emphasis mine).

I think a more likely combination would be 3-3-1 (two groups of 3 scum, plus one SK). And I don't think that sequels are a group of mafia... Terror movies could scare people to death, for example. The 3-3-1 situation would be acceptable considering that probably all, of almost all, town roles have some sort of power.

I would imagine the mafia groups are 3-2-2, since the post does make each one seem like a group... and there's more than one alien movie out there with their name as a title. Agreed, bad start with three townies falling.

Bad start, two autoprotecting townies killed by the other side. That hurts, they could've been instrumental to the game (ie. the Traveller, immune to kills on odd nights or whatever) I disagree that DP would more than one alien movie in, however do agree that the 3 godfathers will be in. Not too sure about the bond movies though, once we get some more information regarding sizes (3-3-1..etc..) it will probably be easier to figure out.

Due to lack of other information (I dont agree with the blackhawk-bloojay thing) I'll have to resort to the good ol'
