Welcome to shadyville. Population 12... and falling. Yes, there must be a terrible feeling of deja vu as more of the town are getting killed off each night. People of varying trades in the town decide to meet every day in the town hall and try and weed out the culprits.

Rules, I found lying about somewhere (in MeMe's pocket):
  • Votes must be in
    bold
    . If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
  • Please be attentive and unvote, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I’d appreciate it.
  • Executions will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. You may vote: no lynch – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
  • The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
  • Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
  • Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts
  • Don’t quote any PMs from me.
  • If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
  • If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
    [*]Note: In this game, it is very important you don't make any post after you are lynched. You may speak in twilight, since by then it is inevitable but are yet to actually be lynched. But as soon as the death scene is posted, DO NOT post in the thread again until the game is over.

The Shadyville Independant


Breaking news today:


Early morning police reports indicate a body was found down near the railroad tracks. It had been tied to the tracks and the oncoming train had mutilated the upper half of the body. The Doctor who arrived on the scene was well equiped but there was no way of reviving the corpse in such a state. If only he got there sooner. Luckily his identification papers were found in his trouser pocket, and it revealed that the victim was non-other than Flying Dutchman. A further search of the body showed some very incriminating documents indicating that Flying Dutchman was none other than The Godfather.

Citizens of shadyville were further shocked today when it was discovered that a total of 2 people failed to show up in the town hall for the meeting. They decide to search the town, but didn't have to search long when in a back alleyway, they find a body that has been viciously stabbed. No identification papers were found on the victim, although by a roll call and process of elimination, it was established that he was none other than CoolBot.

Night 1:

DEAD: Flying Dutchman - The Godfather - Tied to Railroad tracks.
DEAD: CoolBot - ??? - Viciously stabbed.

It is now day. With 10 citizens alive, it takes 6 votes to lynch.
