"Yarrr!!!!!!" A piraty cry breaks the calm. As you rush to investigate, you find Corporal, your Captain, dead, a cutlass buried in his back. There is a bottle of rum in his hand with a note inside. Someone cracks open the bottle and reads it out.

1. General Stuff

2. Communication
a) Don't talk about this game anywhere else other than in this thread, unless you've been specifically told to by me. Modkilling may apply to those who don't follow these instructions.
b) Do not quote your role PM or any moderator related communications. Paraphrasing is acceptable, but don't push it.
c) If you die, you are allowed one "bah" post with no game related content.
d) If you die, you will be given access to a private thread with other dead pirates.
e) No cryptography or anything that I can't (or anyone else for that matter) read.
f) Don't edit or delete posts.
g) Mod posts will be in
purple
h) Flavour does not contribute anything important to the game, other than making it cooler.
3. Voting
a) Votes must be in
bold
or with the [/vote] tags, at the start of a line.Vote: Captain Corporal

b) You may unvote the same way, except using [/unvote] tags in place of the [/vote] tags, but this is not required, unless you wish to remove your vote entirely.
c) Do not abuse voting to intentionally confuse other players.
d) Abbreviations are fine as long as it's easy to see who you're referring to.
e) A lynch (or no-lynch) occurs when a majority is reached. For an odd number of players, this is (n+1)/2. For an even number of players, this is (n/2)+1.
f) Posting is allowed in twilight (the time between the hammer and when I kill them).
g) Once someone has been hammered, voting and unvoting will do nothing, the lynch will still proceed.
h) If no majority is reached by the deadline, a no-lynch will occur.
i) When someone is replaced, votes by that person are automatically taken off.
j) Fake hammers or encrypted votes are illegal.
4. Deadlines and Activity
a) Day 1 will be 3 weeks. All subsequent days will have deadlines of 2 weeks.
b) Night 1 will have a deadline of 72 hours and all subsequent nights will have a deadline of 48 hours.
c) You may request a deadline extension, it will require at least half of the majority of living players (minimum 2 players) to agree. Each extension will be no longer than 72 hours.
d) Depending on replacements and such, I may extend the deadline.
e) If posting is minimal, I may shorten the deadline.
f) Actions posted after the night deadline will not be counted, and you will automatically do nothing.
g) Please try and post regularly (at LEAST every 48 hours). If you don't post within 72 hours, you will be prodded. If you don't respond to the prod through in-game contact, or PM if the thread is locked, you will be replaced.
h) If you get prodded three times, or twice in the same game day, you will be replaced.
i) Post all V/LAs in-thread or PM them to me. I will show each V/LA in the votecount.
