Once in the game during night, you may target up to two players with fae magic.

Mod Note: Fae Magic is the Enchanted Fae Bauble's ability.

The Enchanted Fae Bauble is a mysterious item with a mysterious ability that may be active and single target, active and zero target, and/or passive. The Enchanted Fae Bauble may be used as a single target item even if it has no active effect, and it will only visit if it actually wants to visit.

If two players are targeted and the Enchanted Fae Bauble doesn't actually target, the ability is used twice.

If the Enchanted Fae Bauble has a passive effect, this role uses it as if it were Activated.

Town New Year Card Writer


Each night, you may send someone a Happy New Year Card.

A Happy New Year Card must have the phrase "New Year" somewhere in it, but is otherwise considered a Messenger message.

Happy New Year cards may have these items inside them:

Sparkler - A sparkler sends a results PM of "You see bright and colorful sparks." to anyone visiting you the Night you use a sparkler.
New Year Glasses - New year glasses can be used to investigate someone to see if they have received non-factional private communication or not.
Fruit Token - A fruit token may be redeemed for fruit and immediately sent to another player.
New Year's Ball - Using this item will cause a New Year's Ball to drop in the thread. After a predetermined amount of time, the user of the item will receive an Enchanted Fae Bauble and the moderator will announce a new years celebration. This item may only be given out once.

If you go a Day while keeping your vote on one player (you only vote that player that Day, and you never unvote that Day), you will swap roles but not alignments with that player.

If that player ends up being eliminated, they will flip as their alignment's version of a Quantum Tunneler while your role is changed to what they had.

Town Adder


During pregame, you must choose two players other than you. Their role numbers will be added together and you will receive the role (but not alignment) corresponding to the sum.

If the sum is a post number not in the thread, the mod will divide the sum by two and round down until the sum is a post in the thread.

I'm honestly surprised no one has reposted this classic role by BBmolla yet.

"round down" provision exists as post numbers are only integers as far as I know.

example: choosing players with the roles (Town 1-shot Ability Thief) and (Mafia Werewolf-Framer) will generate a sum of 13151 (which isn't a role yet), which divides by two to 6575.5, which is rounded down to (Survivor Kill Amplifier, which means this role becomes a Town Kill Amplifier).

Mod Note: This role charges someone with a mysterious energy indefinitely. (Roles like Mysterious Eidolon can lose mysterious energy charge)

Mysterious energy is mysterious, it will have a subtle effect. Mysterious energy is a lingering effect that lasts indefinitely. Mod Discretion applies on mysterious energy's effect.

Each night, you may choose whether to eat breakfast at the start of the next day or not.

If you choose to eat breakfast, a random effect will happen after a prod interval (in a Marathon, the random effect happens at the start of the day).

Possible random effects from breakfast:

Roll 1d100 to decide a random effect

1-5 - You gain one layer of Bulletproof (You are protected from the next kill action), and you have the Healthy role added to your role (You are immune to poison).
6-20 - You have the Healthy role added to your role (You are immune to poison).
21-35 - You gain a Fruit Token. A fruit token may be redeemed for fruit and immediately sent to another player.
36-50 - You receive the Results PM "That breakfast sure was tasty!"
51-65 - The moderator announces in the game thread that you chose to eat breakfast today.
66-80 - Nothing happens.
81-95 - You are charged with a mysterious energy.
96-100 - You are charged with a mysterious energy and you gain a 1-shot Mysterious Conduit (You may target a player to charge them with a mysterious energy.) invention.

I'm thinking the main purpose of star counters is that they appear in flips, but this is Grand Idea and the community as a whole makes the deck.

Also, I will point out that the Ritualist's ability assuming a correct guess is a Force of Nature, which is intended to be completely unavoidable (as a Force of Nature is effectively both strong-willed and untargeted, in a Triplicate Action Resolution game a Force of Nature is both indirect and Meticulous) and would even ignore death negation from roles like Famine or Peaceful Archon.

The number starts at 0, and is adjusted by +1 for every townie and -1 for every anti-town player (e.g. groupscum, serial killer, cult) on the previous day's elimination wagon.

Role: Anyone investigating you will receive a message saying that you are a frightening and evil Dark Demon.

Each night, you may cloak someone in darkness. They will be roleblocked, and will receive frightening visions of a random night action targeting them the next Night (if they weren't targeted the next Night, they will receive frightening visions of demons).

Mod Note: Keep in mind that plunging in darkness and cloaking in darkness are different abilities with different effects.

During the day, you may reveal a player's true role card, including mod notes and stuff the moderator has hidden from the player. Furthermore, the exact post(s) the player's role and alignment come(s) from will be revealed. Partner and PT redactions will work as normal.

Successfully using your ability will cause you to unavoidably die. This death will reset the vote count, and will extend the deadline to the prod timer if it is below the prod timer.
