/out for all

Sorry, not really in the mood IRL to be teaching/playing with newbies. Had my house broken into recently and the landlord seems to not want to pay to have them fixed properly - apparently our legal right to a secure and safe household is void just because we're moving in a month or so. Patience at an all time low.

Hey guys, I need a replacement for rb in Newbie 1747 (Day 1, 10 pages). This is an SE slot, so only SE-qualified players may PM me to request this slot. Thanks!

Edit: Filled by algebra.

Why do I feel like I was missed?

Because several people after me were accepted as subs when I wasn't :(

You have a "verify status" asterisk in the OP; make sure you have PMs turned on - or, if you got the "verify status" PM, make sure you respond to it.

If you've already responded, Mina will probably update the queue soon and release you from that holding pattern unless there's something else you need to do.

Sorry, Noguy5--that was completely my fault, because I can be really absent-minded sometimes. I added the asterisk beside your name because I noticed an IP conflict, but somehow forgot to actually PM you. Since you were waiting for so long, I'll add you to the next game right away.

If I've already completed one newbie game, am I able to join one outside of "road to rome"

In the rules it states you need to automatically finish one game, then you can join another newbie game. (doesn't say complete, join i have done)
The next is to be an SE, you need one game finished outside of "road to rome".

You can join non newbie games at any time. Some small number have experience requirements but most don't.

Road to Rome is used for all newbie games, and only newbie games. The way it works is that your first and second games can be in this queue as a newbie; your fourth game onwards can be in this queue as an SE. Your third game can't be in this queue; your first and second games don't have to be in this queue, even though they can be (and obviously, nothing's forcing you to come back to this queue as an SE, you could stay in the other queues forever if you wanted to).

In order to join a non-newbie game (i.e. outside Road to Rome), you'll need to use the respective game's queue. The Queue forum is here; Normal is a common choice of queue for second/third games, with Open and (sometimes) Micro also being good choices. The moderator for non-newbie games can set their own requirements on who can join, but most moderators will allow players to play their second game there unless the game happens to be very complex.

Hey everyone, I need two replacements for Newbie 1746 (Day 1, 5 pages). These are both Newbie slots, so anyone not already in his/her first game may PM me to request a slot. Thanks!

Edit: AndHar replaces deadalus1; the other player came back.
