I would like the Diplomatic Times to know that the Archduke has officially been uninvited to the Kick-Ass Cathedral Party that had been planned for early 1906.
Any Austrian citizens in Italian occupied territory that are present at the event are going to be looked at with disappointment due to their connection to the lameness of the Archduke, or they can get out and join the lameness that is shared by those who are not invited to the Kick-Ass Cathedral Party.
If the Archduke stops being a meanie pants then maybe we'll reinvite him.

I spent time experimenting with jDip - if you enter edit mode you can put the game state as to how it is now and pick what phase it's in, it'll just have the wrong year but everything else would be the same. Though now you've gotten on backstabbr it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, because there's an army blocking the path.
They can go from Europe to the mainland too (Hello St Petersburg). And from the current position, if Kiel moves in, Sweden can't be cut, and Holland can bounce with Munich if it tries anything.
Pretty sure it's a lot more convenient if that one territory in the middle of things is a nice blue colour. And, again, with 14 centres he can just end the game after taking some of the central ones from me and Austria. You serve no benefit as an inconvenience movement wise and as something that'll force the game to go an extra turn as he takes his 18th centre. You won't be joint winning with him at that point regardless of if you're still alive.

I did see the one where every territory was its own nation.
I prefer the look of the Crowded variant, 11 players, all unclaimed centres in an area become a new power (Ruhr gets turned into a centre for the power starting there). Similar degree of chaoticness, but more manageable numbers.

With 2birds coming the other way, I didn't think it possible to beat Snakes anymore.
And so I headed on him because I couldn't get any other centres, and such chaos would probably ensure 2birds didn't win, which had become my main objective after concluding I couldn't win as a result of his betrayal.
And it was a lot of fun to do.
