Ukraine(Five Man Electrical Band)--Its classic, so that's something.
Greenland(Robert Delong)--This has some interesting things going on. Went on about a minute too long though.
Mali(Arthur Beatrice)--Not special.
Sealand(The Rumjacks)--lol. Pretty fun, actually!
Wales(Miriam Stockley)--I, surprisingly, really liked this! In another world, this is a symphonic metal song and it's sweet.
Estonia(Lucifer In the Sky With Diamonds)--Completely forgettable.
Spain(Shadowy Men On a Shadowy Planet)--First half better than the second, pretty okay. Very chill, but fun.
South Africa(R. Kelly)--<Insert Piss Joke Here>
Macedonia(Laura Stevenson and the Cans)--Who are you and what have you done with Hito?!
Laos(Twenty-One Pilots)--This is pretty cool. I will say the lyrics are...really poor.
Singapore(Sia)--I forgot this song was playing and then I realized 15 minutes later, it wasnt the same song.
Chile(Faada Freddy)--Eh
India(Kemialliset Ystävät)--This is 2deep4me
Iceland(Thank You Scientist)--Kinda cool.
USA(Deardrops)--Yeah, this is pretty sweet. J-rock is gr8.
Scotland(Supergrass)--Something from mid-2000s indie movies.
Turkmenistan(Glass Animals)--I legitimately hate you for submitting this.
St Lucia(Charli XCX)--Yeah, this is dancable.
Tuvalu(Badly Drawn Boy)--I lied, this will probably win the contesting instead Glass Animals. I don't mind this nearly as much.
Belarus(Attack Over Grace)--No.
Burkina Faso(OqueStrada)--The one thing I can say, SnowStorm, is I always at least look forward to your entries.
Gabon(The Kooks)--It's The Kooks.
Greece(Hungry Lucy)--My wheelhouse and all that.
Isle of Man(Peter Evans Quintet)--Sorry, UT...
Cuba(Rick Astley)--...I'm prob giving points to this.
Italy(FENCES)--Yeah, I await hearing this on the radio.
Natirasha is just a vestige, it's Contessa now.

All in all, I dunno. At least this contest has a pulse, unlike the last couple. Nothing ~amazing~ that I really want to listen to again, but also, with the exception of possibly my least favorite 'indie' rock band being in it, It wasn't boring to listen to at least.

Italy – Really it’s a pretty standard rock song. The vocals are nice enough and it’s “pleasant” overall but I doubt this one’s going to stick with me. It’s just not distinct in any way.

Estonia – Sorry but that’s a really dumb band name, sorry. That’s about the only thing about this song that I don’t dig, though, it’s a fun rock song and does quite a bit in a relatively short time.

Chile – I dunno, I’d like this better if it wasn’t acapella, if it had, y’know, music that could match the intensity of the singer. ‘Cause I REALLY like the vocals and harmonies there and all, but the acapella background isn’t doing it for me.

Singapore – Well I really like Chandelier so let’s hope Sia’s other stuff is as good. Hmm see here’s the thing. If Sia isn’t singing passionately enough, she sounds like a slightly-more-awake Rihanna to me. That’s basically the case here. It’s fine enough though, but there’s a weird chord in the verse progression that feels –wrong- but what do I know. I’m also listening to the one you MEANT to send and I do like it better, the buildup to the chorus is fantastic but the payoff isn’t quite there. It’d be getting more points that this one’s likely to get though.

USA – It’s upbeat and fun at all but I just can’t stand Japanese female vocalists. All too damn high pitched and all sound exactly the same to me. And it’s not like the music is fantastic on its own though I do appreciate the violin.

Laos – Honestly the vibe this gives me is “fun. but with less pleasant vocals” but the first part of that compliment is a good thing. I could’ve done without the synth swells at the end though. But I like this, yes.

St. Lucia – This is a lot less in-your-face than the other Charlie XCX stuff I’ve heard, but maybe that’s not for the better. This is alright, it’s certainly interesting, but I wish she’d slow down a bit and instead be a bit louder, ‘cause that’s really where here vocals work. The muffled synth isn’t doing the song any favors either.

Greece – Okay, there we go, finally a song that I just don’t connect with at all, in any way. It’s kinda sluggish and really goes nowhere the entire time.

Belarus – My test for whether or not growling vocals were a good decision: Is it Mikael Akerfeldt? If yes, good decision. If not, bad decision. The music is otherwise very unspecial metalcore, so I have little interest in listening to this again.

Sealand – Well he’s basically not singing, otherwise it’s just a folky rock song that doesn’t really do anything distinct. It’s alright but I wouldn’t return to it.

Wales – So a laid-back ballad type of thing that is utterly generic, okay. Like, nothing here I couldn’t find in a better song. Sorry.

India – I… I’m pretty sure this is just random noises tossed together haphazardly. It’s vaguely trying to hold a rhythm I guess but not doing a very good job of it.

Macedonia – Well, this certainly… exists. Again, pleasant enough, but I’m never gonna remember it. Nothing about it stands out, her voice is alright but not that unique, the music is alright but not that unique, it just… exists.

Gabon – This is probably the most alive song in this set so far but I’m zoned out after the last few snoozefests. It’s not that special anyways, sooo.

Turkmenistan – Y’know what I dig this. Very relaxed but still interesting enough to hold my attention. I dunno why, it just is.

Burkina Faso – Not available in the US so I looked it up, may not have the same version who knows. This… exists. This is the kind of thing I never really care for.

Greenland – Really all I can say is that this entire set killed the good vibes I got from the first set, this is just boring to me. It’s got some energy I guess so it’s in the higher half of the set, but that doesn’t take much with songs like these.
