Timeline

Days will last
as many days long as the number of players that day began with + 2
, but will
never be less than 14 days
long (e.g. Day 1 will be 20 days long, for 18 players + 2).
Nights will last
3 days
, or 72 hours.
A player who goes 48 hours without posting, or 24 hours without posting after their V/LA ends (to the approximate hour), will be prodded.
A player who goes 24 hours without posting (or replying by PM if it is Night) after a prod will be replaced.
A player who has been prodded at least 3 times may be replaced without being given their 24-hour grace period

This game uses a modified Natural Action Resolution list.

All Active Moves that resolve during the Night will be resolved according to which category of this list they fit into.

Further order of resolution within categories will be simultaneous, or as logical as possible.

Any Active Moves that resolve during the Day will either also use this list when applicable, or be resolved in real time.

* In this game, the public flavor for all kills/deaths will be "faint(ed)". Role PMs and other private information may use either "faint(ed)", "kill(ed)", or "die(d)" inconsistently to refer to similar topics.

uPick Information

A player's Pokémon is not indicative of their alignment.
Alignments were assigned randomly based on a pre-determined alignment ratio.
Moves/actions were built based on all Pokémons' alignments and moves. Possible Moves include both Level-Up and Egg Moves, as long as they were available to that Pokémon in Generation II (which includes moves introduced in both Generation I and II). Moves of a Pokémon's pre-evolved form(s) are also eligible.

Information on all possible Pokémon and their specific Moves can be found through the individual Pokémon links in the right drop-down list in Serebii's RBYGSC Pokédex, or in Serebii's list of GSC Pokémon, but only clicking the Pokémon images and
NOT
their names (clicking the names leads to Generation V information, which does not apply here).

Information on all possible Moves and their Types can be found in Bulbapedia's list of Pokémon moves (ONLY moves labelled "Gen I" or "Gen II").
Please don't cry if you didn't get that Pokémon you really,
really
wanted. We used the fairest method possible to determine who received what Pokémon.

Mechanics Information

All Pokémon begin the game with at least 1 Passive or Active Move.
A Pokémon may use a maximum of 1 individual Active Move per Night unless otherwise stated.
A Move has the same effect regardless of the Pokémon that knows it (for example, two Pokémon that know the Move "Tackle" would see no differences for that Move between Role PMs).
Any factional actions or abilities will not appear on Role PMs, and will not be counted as part of an individual Pokémon's moves. But for the purposes of action resolution, a factional action will count as an Active Move performed by a specific member of that faction.
All private communication threads that exist for this game will be open during both Day and Night unless otherwise stated.
All Pokémon were given an individual gender: male

. Each Pokémon's gender was randomized based on the gender ratios used in the actual Pokémon games.
Items called
TMs
, short for
Technical Machines
, exist in this game, and each contain 1 Move that can be learned once by 1 Pokémon. A Pokémon cannot learn a TM Move if it has already learned a TM Move, or if it already knows the Move that that TM contains. Any TM is compatible with any Pokémon in this game (unlike in the actual Pokémon games, where certain Pokémon cannot learn certain TMs).

i have a verifiable compulsive somewhat negative-utility ability (try saying that fast 3 times)

i need to choose a target over the night phase (it's random if i don't choose) and all votes on either me or that target will be counted on both of us. that'll come into effect d2/d3/d4 (it's 3-shot compulsive)

i'm probably just going to use it on someone i think is unlikely to be lynched so no big deal, really, but i figured i'd mention it now so it doesn't become an issue later

Growl	Normal	Active	1-Shot Blank Day Vigilante	During the Day, only once during the game, you may use "Growl <Target>" on another Pokémon (by PMing the moderators, and not in the thread). You will immediately kill that Pokémon. However, you can only shoot blanks, so your target Pokémon will not actually die as a result of this Active Move.
