This post bugs me. Scum can give town reads flawlessly, scum can't give scum reads. Therefore I think it's more valuable to give scum reads, imo.

Please do. I understand that it's valuable to have town reads for PoE but I feel like scum reads accomplish more at the moment.

so actually town is way more interested in sorting players into town and scum lists than scum is

scum doesn't have any trouble sorting this sort of thing out because they already know who the scum are. they can claim town reads for the purpose of forging alliances, planting false associations, or any other number of reasons, but it really doesn't factor into their solving-the-game process

I'm not saying that blindly throwing out "oh this player is town" with no reason is a super towny thing to do, but I really don't see why it should bug you at this stage of the game. dude is probably just hamhandedly trying to put people into camps so the game is easier for him to solve

My point is in your second sentence. Mafia can give a town "read" on someone in order to get an alliance with them with minimal effort by just saying "oh this person is town."

I suppose I'm over-analyzing if such a thing even exists.

Konowa I already made clear (although I'm gonna label it as over-analyzating for now) and there's nothing else I can even add cause that's their only post in the entire game. Vinkah is seeming helpful and asking good questions of others. The bomb claim is interesting, not sure if it's an elaborate gambit or not, but I'll believe it for now. It's awfully ballsy to claim.

Shinobi, I wasn't implying there was a problem with it, just that I'd prefer scum reads from them as well (considering that's their only post and they throw the word "also" in there)
