I refuse to find being on a scum wagon alignment indicative anymore.

That's basically what mafia is tbh.

A lot of yelling then lynching random people.

Now this leads to the question: Do actual players lynch better or worse than random chance?

Worse I believe, in general.

Unless I'm scum with living partners, then the chance of scum getting lynched skyrockets.
2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.

Any basic amount of thinking about it would indicate that lynches should hit scum, on average, at chance, unless people has a whole are ~better~ at one alignment.

They are. It's easier to play town than it is to play scum, and non-random lynches benefit town more than non-random NKs benefit scum.

My views on bussing are my views as scum - Pretend that you're not scum. FORGET that you're not scum. If you see someone do something scummy, call them out on it. Remember only when it makes sense - if it's LYLO and you can hammer to win the game.

It's pretty much random, as far as I can tell. That's how it goes for Vengeful and the vanilla subsetup of F11, which are the only two setups with big sample sizes I can think of that can be completely boiled down to EVs. I like to think some playerlists can do better than this, buuuuuuut.

The (12/13 player) nightless games that have been run almost always end in town wins, even though random odds would suggest they'd only win 33% of them. Nightkills matter: getting to decide which townies don't get to influence the game anymore does have a big impact.

If mafia daytalk is in play, the town's win rate drops
hard
.
In retrospect, I'm wondering if this explains the disproportionate scum win rates in Lovers and SCIENCE. Although SCIENCE's win rate for town would still be low.
Town won about 30% of the time in vanilla F11, while the normally-balanced Matrix6 setup is standing at...what is it now, around 10% town wins after about 20 games or so?
As I move my vote
Towards your wagon, town is taking note
It fills my head up and gets louder and
LOUDER

we should roll scum together and just instantly deathtunnel each other during RVS and not stop until one of us gets lynched.

probs what would happen.

town would vote each other on lylo and we'd slowroll for the entire day phase trying to get the bus to work.

Eh, I feel like it's more that there are players who either bus super aggressively, or who adamantly refuse to bus, but very few players who exist in the middle ground.

If we spread propaganda around how bad bussing is the value of bussing increases.

I'd say I'm in the middle ground. I'm willing to bus someone aggressively, especially if I think they're inevitably going to get lynched,
but
I don't bus unless I can see a good strategic reason to do so and there often isn't one. (In particular, as scum, I try to work out which member or members of the scumteam I want to be alive at endgame. On occasion, aiming for the perfect victory is the best option because it means the game's over faster and thus town have less chance to second-guess themselves.)
