Also, how long have you been guaranteed one of your preferred roles during a promo? I haven't seen that icon before.

Why is Essence Reaver a good item on Ashe, CDR aside? Maybe I'm just not looking but I've never seen her get mana back for autoing the same target twice (since applying frost shot makes the next AA count as a crit for her)

It's purely about the cdr. Other AD items are better than essence reaver aside from the fact it gives cdr.

Yorick is fun, his ult is really good.

3.6k seems way too expensive on Ashe for just 70 AD and up to 30% CDR. Seems way more in the 2.7-3.0K range, since she can't/doesn't use the mana regen part of it.

You're forgetting 20% Crit chance as well. The mana regen is a very minor consideration.

...Still seems pricey, but if you add the crit (which I think I acidentally rolled into the 30% CDR somehow) I can buy it being a 3K+ item.

Maybe I just wish she could get the full benefit of the item like she can with Runaan's, IE, BT, etc. Just me.

Btw, if I don't want to go Youmu's/Duskblade Jhin, what items am I looking for? IE, BT, RFC, Reaver?

If you don't want the ghost's duskblade, IE/RFC/ETC is fine. Would not buy reaver.

I'd go something other than Jhin then.

Reaver is still efficient on Jhin since it gives him a lot of what he wants. He loves flat AD and crit chance, and he's enough of a caster that the CDR is helpful on him.

EDIT: Reaver on Ashe is efficient because she scales with both crit chance and CDR, so she needs to be able to fit both of them into one build, of which ER is the only real option for.

If you can understand ashe's kit properly and know how to group for picks with your team essence reaver is good as it allows you to make more picks with your ult when with your team.
If you don't know how to group for those picks or don't want to for some reason you can go IE.
Recently I've started going back to IE because I don't utilize the CDR that essence reaver gives well enough to make the buy worth it.
I go BF -> Runaan's -> IE -> RFC -> Vamp Scepter/QSS/Skip This -> LDR/Mortal Reminder -> BT/Mercurial/Maw and throw in berserker's greaves somewhere.
Of course this isn't every game, you need to be flexible but it is a general setup.

I usually go IE on Ashe unless they have a heavy dive comp and the chance you'll be DPSing safely is rare to none. Then it's just better to get the CDR and initiate the fights yourself before you get jumped.

is it actually worth to get berserker's greaves over another zeal item? The attack speed for greaves is inferior or equal to other upgraded zeal items and the speed difference is negligible, while boots don't have a passive.

usually my build order on her is

zeal -> BF -> runaan's+boots -> ER -> IE -> Vamp scepter -> sell boots+zeal -> BT-> shiv/PD/RFC -> LW item/Maw

I usually don't QSS because I don't have the reaction time or awareness to properly use it, making it a waste of space.

Example endbuild: ER + Runaan's + IE + BF + PD + LDR

You want boots early for the movement speed, but if you're going that build, then selling it for a Phantom Dancer or something after you're full build elsewhere is a legit option.

Focus on trying to identify every possible threat to you in a teamfight and tracking what is and isn't on cooldown if that's one of your problem areas. This is an extremely important skill for an ADC to have and is a big foundation for a lot of diamond+ level adc concepts.

A league math a bit ago recommended sitting on tier 1 boots for a long time for most ADCs. Greaves have been tweaked a few times tho.
