Mini #97 - The Aftermath - Game OVER

Post Post #0 (ISO) » Sat Mar 13, 2004 10:17 am

Post by massive »

About a year ago, the small Italian town of Saccovanzetti experienced an overrun in Mafia dealings. Ordinary townspeople feared for their lives, and local law enforcement officials seemed unable to do anything about the small group of Mafia that had taken over the town. Eventually, the town succumbed to base mob justice, and hung enough of the Mafia to scare the rest away.

Recently, however, the town has been once again taken over by violence. Shootings, arsons, and unexplained deaths have left the town in the grip of fear and once again pondering the usefulness of mob justice.

Current town status: Day Three

Saccovanzetti's current population includes:

bigbenwd
mikehart
Rick

The Saccovanzetti cemetary includes tombstones for:

ZONEACE, aka Miss Leona Roundabout, shot night one.
indentureddjinn, aka Winchester Late of the Late Taxi Co, lynched day one.
MeMe, aka Dr. Gene Spoolicer, shot mercilessly night two.
Mr_Gnome_It_All, aka Saul Issitor, strung up by his sensible shoelaces day two.
Lord Sewerrat, aka Green Fum, stabbed in his shop night three.
Jolle, aka Carl Willingham, shot mercifully night three.
Green Crayons
Mike Amok
Phoebus

The rules (blatantly stolen from Talitha):

» Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold you vote it will not count.

» Please unvote before casting a new vote. (Unvote in bold also).

» A lynch requires that one player has votes from more than half of the current players. Once the player has the required number of votes the lynch is inevitable and nothing can save them. We call this "twilight," although some of us have other names for it depending on where we are.

» You may vote for a "no lynch". A vote of this kind from more than half of the current players is required to end the day.

» Do not discuss this game outside of this thread, unless your role or a PM from me specifically says that you may do so. Please also refrain from discussing your role and/or any game happenings with any of the other players (whether you or they are dead or alive), for as long as the game is still running.

» Only live players may post in this game. Please read this one, bigbenwd. :)

» Do not edit or delete any of your submitted posts. Doing so will earn you (at the very least) a stern look from the moderator.

» Do not quote your role or any other PMs from me under severe penalty of modkill.

» If you have a night choice, it is due before the posted deadline. If your choice is not submitted to me by this time, no choice will be made.

» If you anticipate being unavailable for more than 48 hours, please post a notification in this thread. Please treat this game as a commitment to the other players and contribute regularly.

» Play to win and give it your best! Please do your part to make the game enjoyable for everyone. Please also note that personal insults and abuse of other players will not make the mod happy. Please leave this sort of work to the moderator.

» If you have any questions, PM me! I may or may not respond to questions in the thread, but I will certainly reply to any PMs.

Well, I can replace both you
and
ID, if you want. Gah.

For real content, I've emailed ID to give him until tomorrow. Hang tough or be modkilled.

Saccovanzetti Ledger-Journal

Murder In The Palace

The palatial home of Leona Roundabout, aka
ZONEACE
, was the scene of the most recent gruesome murder to take place in Saccovanzetti. Miss Roundabout was found this morning by her butler, bound and gagged in a chair in the dining hall. Cause of death was determined to be a single bullet through the chest, although Miss Roundabout also was quite severely beaten and apparently tortured before her execution. No further details have been released. Miss Roundabout was best known for being the hostess of most of the town's social events and fundraisers. Visitations will be on Thursday.

Firebug Continues to Spread

The prolonged streak of the Saccovanzetti arsonist continues, as another house last night was engulfed in flames. Luckily, fire crews arrived on the scene to prevent any deaths or long-standing damage.

It is now Day One. With eleven alive, it takes six votes to swing someone from the proverbial gallows.

Yeah, yeah...I know he's already got a vote. But he seemed rather eager to get the game on AND massive said that he'd confirmed, but he's the only one not to do so in-thread (perhaps because he was already talking to massive about a late-night visit to ZONE's pad...?). Anyway.
