Ya in the process of looking at sample setups I did notice that many setups were hella scumsided (mainly due to mafia being able to recruit town being pretty dang common) and some were hella townsided (often due to a couple of very swingy town roles + some fairly garbage stuff). I think part of the problem is that Xylbot "learns" how balanced things are from experience, but it has minimal experience with 9p+ setups.

Also oddrole is p silly.

I'm fairly baffled by the current game state, b/c Titus seems the most likely person to be aligned with Socrates, but I also am floored that Prana's replace-out ever comes from scum. McMenno is like.......town, as is rando, so I guess the last scum is in {Titus/arona} with a side of me being kinda confused about momo. 2 Ken Keseys is unprecedentedly unlikely - I've never seen two scum of the same role on the same team besides Mafioso, ever in all of my exp w/ Xylbot. Yall do you though.

There's somewhere around a 65% chance independently of all claims that we're looking for one SK, and I think the claims make that way more likely

The buddy part makes it seem unlikely that momo would have lasted this long, if their role is immortal.

But I want to hear from momo's replacement whenever that happens. From what I've seen of momo he can be a little silly so I'd like another perspective. As for random, he's pretty clearly the goo.

I generated more than 400 sample setups and found no instances of the setup beginning with 4 mafia as one team. This does not mean that it's impossible, just that it's incredibly unlikely. There is a

Brainwasher

mafia-only role that recruits, but it results in the Brainwasher dying (which hasn't happened). There is also a

Recruiter

mafia-only role that recruits turns its target into a Mafioso. So I guess you could argue Titus went from Shuffler to Mafioso to Grey Goo all during Night 2 and that there's a Recruiter out there (but who would the heck would that even be?).

So I think it would be a fairly terrible idea to operate under the assumption that there are 4 mafia, but I suppose I can't tell you for a fact that there aren't. If there was a fourth mafia, it would probably be an Unstable Clone (role that randomly switches at the start of each Day(?) to a different role of any alignment) as I think literally everyone still alive is mechanically confirmed to have had a role that isn't a mafia role at some point. So it would probably be best to look at behavior with flipped mafia if you really feel in your soul that there's another.

I do need to look again into what momo's role could be since it apparently might be something that isn't listed in the MD thread, but as far as stuff that IS in the MD thread, I covered it here. Actually, to add to that I guess momo's slot could be an SK morpher that turned himself into Ken Kesey via Not_Mafia so early in D1 that his predecessor decided to talk about how he was kill immune, and then faked his own death (so no actual mafia kills happened N1)?? That would be amusing!

I agree that a sk is way more likely than 4 mafia.

If momo really can't be lynched, that would make no sense to be mafia. I know this is bastard but being unable to lynch scum takes it too far.
If you were mafia the forensics slot would have been used by the time I got it.
If it's 4 mafia it can only be rm but I agree that he's being genuine about his role.

For sk, I can see it being momo or you. it's definitely absurd that you would be a sk that started out with a forensics shot and ended up with a daykill ability but i don't have much else to go off.

One shot forensics expert is a town only role (this is confirmed in the MD thread) so for me to be anything other than town my alignment would have had to have changed or I would have had to have started the game with a different role somehow
