i was going through many scenarios for this game in what the optimal strategy would be based on specifics known within the set up and it was explicit that the town discuss this to play optimally

we aren't in those paths and the discussion is meaningless

i think there's a key difference to how carcalilly did it and, say, how kraska and i did and how you did it

my personal thoughts are to just leave it to the person with said role and let them do their thing

it's not like ari is just going to make the setup completely vanilla and leave them completely defenseless

i don't really have any thoughts to give on it besides what i've already said (the thing about town/scum parallels in power) and was hoping pointing it out might at least remind people it's a thing that's relevant.

2. The Mafia will have a factional Rolecop ability. It does not interfere with their killing ability.

3. The Mafia will have an appointed "Godfather" to make their kills.

the rolecop takes the position of the normal mafia kill. if the godfather dies the mafia can't kill anymore. godfather can kill and rolecop.
