Yeah, I looked it up. It's a HUGE amount cheaper to drive to america and then fly if you are anywhere near the border.

My options essentially seem to be like leaving at 3:25pm or 4:05pm on the way back.
Everything else is basically asscrack of dawn and nah fuck that.

Update: guy responded, but wants me to pay an additional $1000 "damage deposit". Says it's standard procedure. I'm thinking it's not. Sent in a ticket to AirBnB support.

fwiw that deposit is listed on the vrbo listing for that place but not for the airbnb one.
it's peculiar as to why its not on airbnb (a deposit of some sort isnt necessarily unexpected, but it should definitely be listed.)
