You don't seem to understand the point of protests so let me enlighten you.

The point of the protests is not so people like me, or Panzer, or PEG, or anyone else in this thread who agrees with them to see it. We don't need to see the protests of racial injustices. We're not the ones getting angry because we have to see a 5-second camera shot of a player kneeling during the national anthem.

The point of the protests is so people like YOU see them. The point of protests is so people who either don't know about an issue or don't do anything about an issue or even don't agree about an issue see them. The protests are for people who say things like "we've made enough progress on race in the last 60 years".

You are at fault for getting angry about it. The players are not at fault for exercising their 1st amendment right.

I know the point of the protests, but there is a risk involved when you are going to do something that is going to upset a significant amount of people.

You can't just say anti-protesters are racist and protesters have no fault and that everyone should just give into every demand they have. The NFL is not responsible for social injustice so it's not fair to make them responsible for it or to use their field as a platform.

Pretty sure most players paychecks aren't cashable from "the fans". Pretty sure those have a billionaires name on it.

Also a majority of the NFL's money actually doesn't come from the fans. It comes from tax payers (for new stadiums and stuff like the department of defense paying for the anthem to be televised), tv deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars per network, and sponsorship deals like Bose, the official headphones of the NFL.

That's my point. social justice isn't just about blacks but you would think it was. the me too movement, for example, is far more effective and appropriate.

well I guess if you say I'm the problem it's true. I think police should be more careful in using force but I would guess there are reasons for tension between blacks and police besides racism.

What argument? There is no argument. You are in the class of people who needs to be reminded of racial injustices by the police until you either A) get it or B) reveal yourself to be the racist you claim you aren't. There is no C, there is no D, there is no E, F, G, H and so on and so forth. And since you watch the NFL, that seems like a good as place as any for you to be reminded of these things.

Unless you mean to tell me you would actually consider these issues, if only you saw them somewhere else.
