I actually don't mind being sent to Hell in this phase. That way it is JD already and I trust teacher & ruru to make the right call.

@mod: I am confused, so I am making sure I understand correct.

From the wiki page:

Town wins if the majority of scum is sent to hell

. This means 2 scums sent to Hell = Town wins.

However, from the wiki also:

When 50% of the living players are scum, a Judgment Day occurs. All living players lose the ability to vote. The martyrs privately vote in the martyr PT to send a living player to hell. If the player is town, the Mafia win.

If not, the game moves on to a hell phase

A, I correct in assuming the second caught would only apply if it was a 3-3 JD, and that if we send a townie to hell

I propose this because -regardless of how confident I am in my reads- neither of ruru/teacher trusts me much, and IF we send a townie -other than me- to Hell now; there's a good chance they will lose the game voting me. By me flipping I'm removing an obstacle from the town way for victory, I think.

Does anyone see anything wrong in my logic?

No. I want to win this game today as opposed to tomorrow. If we lynch you then I don't trust Ruru to stick with their townread on NM and do something stupid like shoot Alchemist

Why wouldn't she vote Alch when he IS scum. He tried to stall the day with his VCA stuff, but then vanished when the wagon went on anyway. I din't get where your TR on him comes from.

I haven't been paying much attention to what ruru/teacher's full readlists looked like. The concept I'm trying to apply is to remove the most confusing slot for them two. If they are TRing N_M and you think he's scum (I do) we should be lynching him. If we're right we win. If they're right we lose (because they'll then SR us both). HOWEVER, I know my own alignment, so by flipping myself I guarantee they'll reevaluate their reads accordingly. It's better than sending a hypothetical Town!N_M to Hell and leave me in the pool for the Martyrs to vote.

Okay but like from the point of view of knowing that you're town and I'm town if we lynch for the win today we have the chance of avoiding JD altogether
I'm also fairly sure that most of the people scumreading you are scum so.
It takes all 3 town to successfully lynch scum so if even one town is being dumb it's impossible for us to lynch scum
but at the very least we draw the battle lines.

But we don't even agree on the 3rd townie ourselves. I say it's Invisibility and you say it's Alch. What if we're both wrong and N_M IS Town? (The mechanics of the game make it impossible for me to apply my usual way of reading him). We would be responsible for the mess.

I'd think this was Towny if it didn't come after the post from earlier I pointed out.
