No.
That would also mean that mastina made a moderator lie in the first few posts making the game bastard.
Mastina would not call a bastard game not bastard.

Let’s assume for a moment TGP was joking.

What benefit is there to joking the moderator lied to us outright when people are actively alt hunting? (a practice I despise and will not join) the hydra.

It is a way to comment without commenting and at the same time potential get people to slip if they have a way to get moderator notifications or not.

TGP from prior experience with them is not a joke or a troll user.

So I don’t think that was intended to be a joke.

Furthermore when someone is “joking” and could have disastrous consequences on how players hunt and play that “joke” can have rather large consequences if people are lead down the wrong path. A lot of people here on MS use meta and/or emotion tells and if they look for one set instead of three because they believe there is only one head not three that can be disastrous, especially when a majority of the content so far is around the hydra head.

So this “joke” even if it is one probably came from scum.

According to the definition of bastard on MS, things like Miller for a town player or Godfather for scum are reasonably anticipatable.

Having something from signups be announced as 3 players then turning out to be one IMHO wouldn’t.

Varsoon when I was scum in FFT and never could actually post in thread was still advertised as bastard and that another player existed. So this would fall under needing the same declaration. So that hydra certainly has three heads. Which heads I will leave to the alt hunters.

In regards to one type of motivation, that’s why I tried to assume it was a joke. I could not think of a reason why anyone would joke like that have it be good therefore TGP needs to die.

Right now Gork Titus and Katsuki (if memory serves) are suggested as being in the hydra. For this example I am assuming that the slots are those three people but in no way encourage alt hunting/outing. If someone has a meta read of “Titus does X only as scum” and then X happens but it’s actually Gork doing X so the slot is town it could lead to a lot of bad assumptions. Hence why I don’t see town making that “joke”. Do you see another motivation that I am missing?

Pedit I hope we’re both town too and can overcome the past as well.

Furthermore no one should ever be calling me obvTown except for a few certain people who I trust implicitly to read me well and not doing so is a scum tell. Don’t get me wrong I am town, but I have a damn good win rate as scum because I am perceived as town.

Vecna did I do a thing? Are we gonna mind meld this game?

I just finished two icecones.

Im also in a bit of a sad rage. Just got word that my parents in law had all their magnificent goats stolen, and their 3 dogs poisoned. People can be such bastards at times.
It’s such a weird thing to steal. And yeah they’d have to be bastards to do that.

Is there such a thing as a ‘weird’ tell? Because I don’t see Vecna being that weird (imho truthful but weird) as scum.

Rand is referring to Rand Paul and so it's a way of saying an insane town player essentially
Yeah no

Just no.

Let’s not bring politics in this because Rand Paul is never ever town.

It’s me describing what feels off. I have trouble describing things that are not concrete so I try to describe the feeling like if it exists as a creature or can be visible.

Darth Vader offers peace and stability to the Galaxy. Plus he's the chosen one so by default he's the best person in the universe. The gray jedi do like literally nothing and hardly any exist. And those that do exist are probably living in a shack on Umbara and have no impact on the galaxy whatsoever.
Let’s not spam Star Wars for pages on end.

I’d much prefer a tiny conclave of peace and happiness where I can eat my ice cream, even if irrelevant.

Ok let me rephrase what I said. I believe that Northsidegal is incredibly confident in her ability to read Keychain and genuinely believes she caught scum. This does not impact my keychain read.

No no no

You have this all wrong

Page 7 is the best time to reread a game. It's quick and easy rn, so it's super simple and fast to do and you can sound like a hardworking townie for doing it. Wait til 200 pages in and it's a waste of time and a painful experience.
I mean that takes like < 20 minutes for most everyone to do.

It feels like a really odd callout and the why can go a long way towards reading them. 200 pages in yeah it’s brutal but I find it can catch a lot of scum if you can avoid confirmation bias.

User: MathBlade, why do you feel the need to "piece your slot together" on page 10. It has been 24 hours since the game has started.
I don't feel the questions you are asking is getting to the core of user: Ursula motivations. These are not questions that advance the gamestate. These are questions that look like you are doing something.
Rereading the game is a conscious decision. It’s something a person does willingly. Furthermore I struggle with “jokey” or “gimmicky” or “funny” slots. With three heads consistency and integrity is not the best way to read a hydra, especially one that remains anonymous. What I find does work is figuring out why each specific head does things. Unless a joke is extremely obviously a joke or is NAI I have to push it to be able to read it.

Your hydra claims experience with me, yet you do all of these things despite knowing my struggles with reading jokes. I look forward to Ursula telling me why they reread the gamestate because right now it feels like you’re intentionally trying to piss me off or make it to where I can’t read you.

The rereading the game also implies that you weren’t paying as close attention before if you felt the need to reread it or that you are looking for something in particular. I really really look forward to the answer as it goes a long way toward reading your hydra.

I agree with the sentiment so far that pretty much every one of HeWhoSwims's posts makes me think scum. "soft agree" in is sketch and sounds like "fight fight fight" - encouraging players with mutual scumreads to expand on them seems to be a recipe for conflict without a lot of town motivation.
I agree with Keychain’s line of thinking but not the conclusion.

Players with mutual scumreads fighting is good for the game in small doses. It’s a matter if HWS has egged on the fighting when it was going on too long it would be bad. Overall the slot does give me weird vibes but not for that.

Aronis is annoying me but I wouldn't say that means anything.

I am lean scum on Mathblade if I am being generous, they are kinda weird and I don't overly like the line of questioning about me rereading the game. It's not abnormal for someone to do at this stage by any means and it's a stupid line of questioning that only yields answers like "I am trying to win" or "I had no solid reads" which aren't even alignment indicative answers. Aronis' "too make them look busy" critique has some validity but that clearly isn't what MathBlade is talking about. Although I tend to wait awhile before I read "weird" players since I am not so great at it.

The nameless section of our hydra is town reading TGP but I never asked why, it's probably some kind of tone read. I just read his ISO to help myself answer this question and none of his posts are alignment indicative by any means and are mostly just fun banter.

So sorry, I guess I am just null on the 3 slots in question.
I ask what seem to be “pointless” questions to people a lot.

It isn’t WHAT people say. It’s HOW they say it.

And right now what you’ve done is an attack on me calling me “weird” which is an insult and calling it generous.

Furthermore I wouldn’t expect solid reads then it’s RVS.

Just becomes someone is “weird” to borrow your to be frank disgusting word choice doesn’t mean that you completely disregard attempts at sorting you.

For example I learned you’re intentionally shading me, by calling me “weird” and generous. The only matter is if you think so low of my town game that you just don’t want people to listen to me or you’re actively berating me to get me sidetracked. Either way it’s disgusting as fuck.

I literally cannot respond to you with a clear head right now. So after this post I am doing something else.

How did you expect someone NOT to think being called “weird” and that’s being generous as anything BUT an insult?

Furthermore shifting to your hydra partners
if
they are the unsigned ones is one posted a wall and the other did a computer gimmick and wasn’t paying attention to details.

So your slot if town is rude as fuck and I kinda hope you’re scum.

Decent reasoning, I just feel worse about swimming, who not only looked bad, but then went under the radar once a wagon formed on him.
I am not so sure about a swimming lynch. It seems like a lot of rapid posters are accusing swims of lurking but not keeping in mind it is a holiday.

I'm going to 100% throw my weight around to control the lynch today and I am going to use it to lynch someone whoever that is scumreading me has the worst reads overall.
Oh God. Someone read RC for me stat. Shit like this pisses me off, like if it’s gonna be the RC show only that makes it nigh on impossible to read anything.

do you guys have that much confidence that you are right and not for example Luna? we're only in page 18, is everyone perhaps planning to lock reads this early? if you will probably change your reads later on, why lynching someone because they haven't the same early reads as you?

it's so arrogant that i'm even taken aback in playing this game. i wanted to vote Luna before, but not for these reasons.

i'm slightly enraged at this kind of behavior, so instead of pointing things out as usual, for now i'll do something else in my free time, because if i force myself to try it now i'm for sure badmouthing anyone that is in Luna wagon without truly scum reading the slot

the unique thing that i feel obligated to comment is that i for real had forgot the existence of some players, that doesn't only apply to her but a good example is Theta. she apparently lurked out real good, comes to the thread, ask about hebichan wagon (in other words, she didn't read the thread at all) however even without apparently reading, votes Luna stating that "she could get behind it". She hasn't even apparently read the thread, and when she shows up she hasn't anything to comment on or point out, finalizing with support in a Luna lynch even without knowing the reasons.

This is the kind of thing that hurts town the most if she's not simply scum.

NSG is likely town (but not yet a lock read). I don't see eye to eye with her on KC (I null read her still), but "maybe" she knows her better.

As for your point on Luna I also have no clear view because it takes me more time to sort players I have no experience with. I've never player with you and I don't even know who Ursula is. All I can say is I don't think the two of you are scum together, so if this is single ball at
least one
of you should be lock town. If it turns to be MB, then you could be on two different sides, but I can't rule out both being scum.

P.S. In a game this size, and with Mastina as a mod, it's be stupid to "just assume" it's single ball. This is why I'm trying to "town hunt" more in this game.

P.S.2 Gun to my head, and at this precise point, my guess is Luna vs Yuuri is TvT, but don't quote me on it just yet.
Ooooh it’s a town Almost50 <3

Well when a mommy moderator decides to have players over she has to run the setup and then assign everyone’s role PMs like a good moderator and Aronis’s is almost certainly town. See he has the whole “page top” routine that he does to get scum comfortable then “Bam” down goes the scummy scum.

we talked about other slots, it's you that showed no interest in saying anything about them

and i mean it all with no offense intended

Frankly, THIS is why I "think" you might be town. You sound too paranoid about most everybody. I'll try to give you a hint, but you're at liberty to take my advice or not: Let those who know me sort me. I'll even give you a detailed list of them:

NSG:
Played me enough times (and more recently so) and is well capable of reading me as either alignment.
Mathblade:
Also has extensive experience with me. He used to auto-SR me and even tunnel me at first, but then he learned how to read me.
RC:
It's been a while now, but he used to know me too well. I mean, the last time we played together and we were both town we still SR'd each other (off site), but overall he has some key elements about my play he is more likely to correctly peg me than not.

Now I won't claim I'm that easy to read still, but if all 3 say I'm scum then I'm 90% so. If they say I'm Town then I'm 80% so.

Next level: Cheeky & Creature. I don't know how
they
trust themselves to be able to read me, but I say it's a very good chance.

Then we have: HeWhoSwims, ArcAngel9, TGP, Vecna & hebican. The former two may have not played me but they have modded me, so they have seen me "from above". The latter 3 are familiar with me, but I wouldn't really count on them pegging me correctly in every game we play together.

The rest: Archwing & Keychain have both played me before, but it's almost as if they didn't when it comes to trying to meta me. Theta, Definition, Aronis and Yuuri are all new names to me (don't have any finished games with either), and I don't know who Luna Nova are, so I have no idea of how well they know me, and I certainly will have to treat them as total strangers to me until further notice.

tl;dr:
Sheep NSG, MB & RC and you have a very very good chance of pegging me.

Again; feel free to ignore my tip. It's just that I know I'm a hard read and especially so to those who play me for the first time.

Omg yay! Someone noticed I am trying to be better.

I am taking this as a win. :)

Let's assume I'm 100% sure you're town (just for the sake of this argument). Obviously, scum will suck up to you and avoid pushing you at all costs, and you're going to end up mislynching a townie for sure (because only a stubborn townie would still voice their suspicions towards you). Now what? AM I supposed to SR those who TR you?? I dunno how to get reads on other people if you're going to threaten everyone who points a finger at you, and I'm sure you can argue your way out of a lynch regardless of your alignment, so why not let people freely state what they think (or want to fake) and let the rest of us try and figure stuff for ourselves?
Getting beautiful to agree to anything like that is just gonna turn the thread toxic. I have tried more times than I can count with a town!RC to change his mind. I would worry if RC started agreeing with what I say.

(Sorry RC for the typos getting used to it)

i imagine there's two possibilities here:

I. we've a playerlist very knowledgeable and accurate about each other meta
II. these town reads are too eager and influenced by the confidence of some players that think they can meta read Z player (specially so early) when they can't and should drop their confidence a bit

i particularly believe that it's case II but i'm not arguing over it if everyone disagrees to reconsider

on a side note i'm losing my confidence in one of my town reads, but i'll save explanations for later

@Almost50 then because of that meta tell you are confident that creature is town even though i don't see alignment content from his posts? who in this game aside from you has meta knowledge in creature as well?
There are and there aren’t. Meta is generally a starting point for most players then things develop from there.

Take me for example, I am notoriously hard to read as people have indicated. Sometimes a town meta read is more a “he’s not following his scum meta he’s okay for today” where as some town meta reads are “damn Mastina might as well have announced he’s town” Also scum could be throwing their buddies a town “meta read”. That’s why if I meta someone I try to say what post if prompted. I may not say the exact reason as to prevent tells but it helps people get a bead on me more.

Almost everyone, I suppose?! I mean, if you've played 3 games on Mafiascum within the last 12 months you must've heard about Creature (and Not_Mafia). The former lurks it out as Scum and the latter lol!hammers as either alignment (so never put someone @L-1 if N_M's not already voting them unless you want them dead with or without a claim).

I can provide you with dozens of examples (here and on Mafiauniverse too), but I'll spare you the trouble and link you to a couple of his recent games.

1- Scum!Creature.
2- Town!Creature.
3- Town!Creature. (I wasn't in this)
4- Town!Creature.
5- Scum!Creature.

Now if you want more you probably can look them up yourself.
There was one exception in a game I replaced in and caught him actually posting as scum, but yes the general premise holds.

I am definitely warming up to it.

She has interacted with content though. She's just not a spam poster like you. What do you make of her reaction to NSG's push?
First of all that isn’t “spam”. It’s a catch-up.
Second of all Keychain’s meta doesn’t have anything on NSG.

It's pretty early to be claiming this, while at the same time defending Swimmer against accusations of lurking (not sure who exactly is doing that anyway - I know my scumread there is not based on lurking).
I posted my vote sans reasoning because that was the time I had, when I could have just said nothing.

In post 576, RadiantCowbells wrote:Hi Key how are you doing?
Half good and half bad, so we'll average it out at all right.
There is passive lurking, which is NAI, and then there is active lurking. What Swims is doing is passive lurking. Instead you are making the choice to poke around the edges rather than interact with a majority of the content.

This seems a little bit of a stretch. We're barely out of RVS and NSG is literally pushing Key for her entrance with little support, so it looks unlikely that either one will flip anytime soon. It feels like you're looking for a reason to townread NSG, rather than organically doing so. Also, Ive seen scum happily mislynch/death tunnel town.
Eh, I didn't quite catch this was some sort of reaction test so I considered it a serious-ish post. In that case I'd still doubt town NSG would try it. Besides this I don't TR NSG.

I feel this is too defensive. Firstly surely the hydra is allowed to critique your play, no? I'm with them in that your question about rereading was unnecessary. I also don't feel they were trying to say you're a weird person, but rather that they find your play weird

Vecna, i did a quick research and read the games that almost50 linked about Creature and i suppose we can trust other players judgment on him.

i don't know who's right about ArchAngel (Northsidegal or Creature) so i'm not so interested in lynching her today.

my opinion about lynching Theta still hasn't changed as well, and i'll mull over if TGP bravado to push radiant is genuine or he's doing it in purpose to sound townie

there's so many different players reading different players as different alignments for different reasons (that very very often aren't explained) that it feels a bit chaotic here, i guess it's to be expected from a 18-p game perhaps?

i don't feel like arguing to push my reads over anyone else reads so i'll stay in my corner for a while, if you want to engage with me though it's no problem

edit: can Aronis please for all that's holy stop cluttering the thread? it's too much spam and now we're in page 25 or something and he still isn't engaged in discussing anything. are you guys sure that he's town? for me it sounds like he wants to avoid saying anything game relevant in purpose.
Yeah. He did the same thing in Mod is Mafia.
I completely and blatantly used it as scum.

It’s annoying as fuck but I think I can read scum!Aronis v town!Aronis.

I wish he’d be useful but he has a pagetop addiction worse than my posting addiction.

I mentioned that to demonstrate I look for behaviors as both alignments.

Therefore while in mod is mafia I knew Theta was town I still was “reading” her in a sense.

In post 603, Vecna wrote:Keychain, how did you conclude that Cheeky is indeed engaged and scumhunting, and more importantly - it being genuine- as opposed to just being aware of her own meta and trying to fake it?
If everyone had to be 100% beyond their faking ability as scum before I can townread them, I'd never get anywhere. So I can't be certain that it's genuine, no.

But looking through her ISO, nearly every single one of her posts is digging into something, making stances, pursuing leads.
I have a terrible memory anyway, so meta reads from me are few and far between unless they're connected to me (eg. North's confidence in reading me)
Yeah...I have a bad feeling about Keychain too. Feels like he’s trying to prop Vecna up. The question is why?

Id say theres little reason to do that as town - especially since he doesnt even consider the option that the others that are using his opinion to townread AA9

Because that is what my argument is here. Creature seems to agitated over a silly claim where I pretend to have figured out the entire scumteam. There feels like there is more to it.

At any rate, im more interested in lynching TGP today I think. Ill put a fork in this one for now.

for some reason i got bad feelings about NSG rn. I've seen varying town games of different play styles from her (ie; lurking, much more spammy posting) but something doesn't feel right with this one. can someone convince me of town!NSG?

I think there's a lot of lurker-lynching/suspicion right now, including myself, but I think that for people such as HWS, me, TGP, Theta, that not exactly a scum tell necessarily. And I fell into that as well, but if I double back, I don't think I'd wanna look there today.

Something makes me feel like I wanna investigate inside of {keychain, NSG, maybe RC, Aronis, Cheeky} today? I think RC said it best, earlier, that probably not ALL scum is lurking, and therefore there is/are currently active-posting scum.

I feel comfortable with town!creature right now, and I THINK i'm feeling town!mathblade right now, although I see a lot of aggressive, IYF-style posting that I read in Mastina's The Mod is Mafia, in which Math was scum with scum!Radiant and scum!Keychain.. still getting town vibes though, i'm just being cautious.

(low-key, props to y'all for that game. i enjoyed reading it A LOT)
It’s not a scum tell but it matters what you do when you come back from lurking that matters.
I would agree with the sentiment.

quite the interesting change in his tone though, going from happy to play with those players to sounding very aggrevated later on.

What an extremely mature way to go about making that statement. The evidence is right there for you to go look for it. Itll take you the exact same amount of time as itll take me to go dig through Creature's history. So how about you stop being lazy yourself and do it, because im not your librarian kid.

You can't give me any off the top of your head. Do you know why? Thats because they don't exist. If they existed, then Creature wouldn't be the easy read he's being made out to be.

I think it is incredibly better for the gamestate to have players who play.

However I trust Mastina to take care of that. Having played many many games with her she is a by the spirit not by the law type of mod. If Definition needs a replacement it will happen.

Uhmmm just no. Even if you are town which these last few posts leave me doubting.
Following that conclusion out that would mean scum would defend every wagon against town and be hard bussing all the time.

Scum also need to mislynch. If every wagon on town disappeared every game would be a town sweep.

Without information and knowing who is scum and who is town or at least some motivations statements like that are very likely to be wrong.

do you really think it's the best idea to try to be meta reading a secret alt

Considering Luna is a 3 headed hydra I feel that them having some level of activity is warranted. As for you, you have alted yes but some things remain consistent between this account and your altI am not as convinced as some of the others seem to be of the meta reads on you but I am definitely not excluding you scum.

on top of the first layer of whether or not your meta read is correct in the first place you're also adding a layer of being right about who the person even is that you're meta-ing

Again, Luna is a three headed alt. I intentionally remained silent most of today and the Luna spot has done nothing. Even if I am wrong on Ursula head, the other heads should be doing
something

first of all, it's not an "argument" in the first place - it's something that i think could be possible based on my expectations of what scum would and wouldn't do and how they would interact with me. yes, it absolutely does depend on the person, and no - saying that scum may be more likely to be not just following along on a wagon is not an "inherently bad argument", it's something that's empirically verifiable. that's not to say that it happens every game - like i said,
it depends on the person.
for my case, i imagine that scum would be more likely to defend me rather than hop on my wagon (at least, in the early stages). this is something that i can claim based on previous experience from how scum have interacted with a wagon on me in the past.

i have no idea what you're even attempting to accomplish here.
I am demonstrating your “point” “argument” or whatever you want to call it that scum would back off you is just bad.

Furthermore by mentioning it if you are town you are in effect going to end up bringing scum to your wagon not away from it. And unless a pattern is predictable a good majority of the time, it’s not relevant for this scenario and is just wifom.

My point in bringing this up is trying to show that
A) if you’re town this is a bad thing to do. It’s like “look at this self meta” if anyone cared they would already be doing it and it torpedoes any sort of wagon analysis
B) if you’re scum it serves to try to sow seeds of doubt so I would look for a busser on your wagon.

If you think swims is that kind of person why not join the wagon? And if you think Swims is a majority read why not push that harder? I don’t understand your point and lack of followthru and therefore it strikes me as terribad

You haven't "demonstrated" anything. You've just said that i'm wrong.

B) if you’re scum it serves to try to sow seeds of doubt so I would look for a busser on your wagon.
how does just the fact that (according to you) mentioning it would bring scum to my wagon make it "a bad thing to do" if i'm using the thought to look at how scum would be interacting with my wagon?

i could get it if your point was that i'm not being specific enough - otherwise, i fail to see what's "terribad" about it, as you said.

i mean, really - mentioning how i think scum are interacting with my wagon is "terribad"? that's ridiculous.

(by the way, you're utterly wrong on self-meta. it's not even an argument - i can literally
prove
you wrong.)

I replaced in under an alt of mine after you died.

Hence why I am not convinced by the meta argument.

I have to get ready for some dnd with friends my overall points to clearly summarize

1) You tried to get people off your wagon to say it would dissipate
2) You’ve been a quiet player most of the game
3) You recycled points made by other people. Saying they aren’t recycled doesn’t make it not so.
4) You have scumreads that you don’t seem to act upon.
5) I am not asking whether you defended someone or not. I am asking why you didn’t vote a scumread when they were a popular wagon when you said if there is consensus for this person they are probably scum.
6) << Just added. Your defense here reeks of flail.

I gotta go but that is the jist.

TGP mainly because i think he's better than making the "so you expect us to sheep you" comment (and i think him being good/bad is AI), and hewhosims because i think he's something of a "wisdom of the crowd" read where if he gets consensus scumread he's likely scum but if he gets consensus townread he's probably just town. (obviously that reasoning wouldn't work for myself in isolation, but in the context of a larger game i think it's valid, and would be valid for certain other pople as well)
In post 921, northsidegal wrote:and, i suppose just to elaborate on the first point, i think that TGP being bad or good is actually AI for him. in a theme game that i modded where he was town, this was his lynchpool on day one:
In post 294, TheGoldenParadox wrote:My lynchpool right now is {Gamma, Cheeky, TWC, Wheme(policy), Pintu}
Gamma: I already explained my case.
Cheeky: Provides little in the way of game content, preferring to say things like "why are you guys so scummy" and then proceeds to have the biggest mislynch bait ever as her top townreads. I don't see that coming from this great of a town player, especially considering the difference between this and Gold Rush, although that may be normal newbie queue playstyle differences.
TWC and Pintu: Both perfectly good and capable players that are staying under the radar. I'm willing to partly excuse this as there could be multiple reasons for this absense.
Wheme: Provides none in the way of actual game content, trolling, which is NAI, but makes me want to PL him.
that contains the entire scumteam, the neutral survivor, and one townie.

on the other hand, recently i read grand idea overdrive, where he dayvigged two players that were pretty widely townread with some pretty weak reasoning:

he was a werewolf here. that thread isn't too long so reading it might give you some better context for what i'm saying (as well as some more examples of questionable reasoning / play), but this is where i'm coming from when i say that for TGP specifically i think the question he asked is scum-indicative.
Yay repeating and calling it new.

This boils down to BoP on TGP. There is nothing new in this post.

I am thinking Luna is scum simply from the lack of activity. One of the heads of Luna if I am right likes to be a bullhorn as town and is quieter as scum. Combined with two other heads not being here I think Luna is probably scum. Some people townread the Luna hydra if memory serves.
do you really think it's the best idea to try to be meta reading a secret alt

on top of the first layer of whether or not your meta read is correct in the first place you're also adding a layer of being right about who the person even is that you're meta-ing

In post 852, northsidegal wrote:also i think it is probably +random that scum would be defending me rather than joining my wagon?

that's not to speak about any specific person, but just more that scum, knowing that i'm town, would be less inclined to join my wagon likely knowing that it'll disappear at some point (this is assuming that scum know who i am, which i think is a reasonable assumption?), whereas someone who's uninformed would be more likely to come to the conclusions that, say, archwing has.

This seems really odd that a majority of my scumreads want to replace out because I scumread them.

And you don’t scumread me?

If you need to, and you’re town take a breather. Seriously.

Replacing out when activity is at its lowest or a policy lynch is bad.

The only way town wins is if we come together.

Instead of bailing if you’re town let’s do that.

“do you really think it’s best to read a secret alt?” The question feels more like “I know better than you how to play with a little bit of ‘You suck’” thrown in for good measure.

It’s the “really” that is antagonistic in nature. More combative.

Take in contrast with TGP.

to be more specific: what exactly do you mean by " "busy" ", what do you expect from town nsg, and how is how i'm playing right now different from that expectation?
This lacks that same “really” or emotional answer.

It’s more open. It’s really encouraging to someone you scumread. Which I find odd.

Gonna reread and get a clearer head tomorrow.

I just wish that this sort of thing didn’t keep happening.

Like I try to read people and it always just comes out “wrong” like I read it three times and it still just isn’t what the person meant. It pisses me off a lot. I just wish yeses were yeses and nos where nos and it was all clear.

for the record this reaction is the huge thing that everything else follows from: if they were town (regardless of read on me) there's no reason to argue that the guilty is fake.
arguing that the guilty is fake is hedging for a universe in which it's real imo, particularly given the choice of quotes to pull.
Close, but not quite. I can see a townie who knows they're town to argue against the guilty being guilty. I just don't see them adding "imo" at the end of it. On other words "the guilty is still faked" is the way a townie would phrase it because they know it's a fact. "the guilty is still faked
imo
" show doubt in their own alignment.

Conclusion: My vote is on Luna in spirit, but I still want Definition to get replaced and TALK before we end the day.

They don't say that the guilty isn't possible because they're town and look for out-of-context evidence of it possibly being fake instead? Also why aren't they pushing RC harder if they are conf biased it's fake?
Correct. "possibly" being the keyword. "imo" suggest they "think" it "might" be faked. That is definitely how I would have said it if it was faked on me, because I
know
I'm town, so I won't "think" it's fake but rather would be
positive
it is.
And Almost50 is epic levels of town.

you know, aside from keychain gaining a town lean for by how game solving she was, i imagine i didn't change my reads at all

Town:
NSG, Creature (i'm sheeping consensus here)

Town lean
Cowbells, Keychain

Scum lean
Hebi, Hewhoswims, TGP

Scum
Theta, Luna

Rest is some tone of null and i don't know what to do with Vecna and Math although they posted quite a bit

i'm almost leaning Almost50 as well, let's wait i guess
You’re also missing someone :(

Sads.

I have to go or I would comment more.
ScumBlade's eloquent performance left me utterly disoriented, debased, depraved and sent me spiraling into a horrific murky abyss with emotional turmoil and immense despair as my only companions until slowly I suffocate in my own gloom, surrounded by failure. IMO = opinion

It wouldn’t be your opinion if the guilty was fake it would be your fact.

An invitation to play in my first tailored setup (in something between a month and century from now) to whomever tells me what I think is wrong with this post.
for the record this reaction is the huge thing that everything else follows from: if they were town (regardless of read on me) there's no reason to argue that the guilty is fake.
arguing that the guilty is fake is hedging for a universe in which it's real imo, particularly given the choice of quotes to pull.
