Also, spending two points to gain two watermelons.
Pedit: Why must you do this to me?

How pedantic can I get? Cuz then I would object to the notion that 'watermelons', 'lemons', 'oranges', and 'raspberries' are classified as fruit to begin with given that there is no rule stating such; the only thing proposed either way is that lemons should be classified as vegetables and that lightbulbs are not fruit. In post 195, 123456789 wrote:
The thing is, in Nomic, you can say whatever you like about a thing. For instance, we currently have a rule that bees are equivalent to Watermelons. Obviously, such a rule is preposterous in real life.In post 191, skitter30 wrote:HEAL: 342

If I have any lightbulbs I'd like to invest in the lightbulb market.
I feel like vegetables and fruits and two distinct categories, and as such, if a lemon is a vegetable it is implied it is not a fruit because it cant be both.
Thus, in Nomic, most things have to be explicit, and this is one of those things.
Proposal 346: Objects do not inherently belong to any given food category; a rule must be passed to designate an object as belonging to a specific food category. Objects can only belong to one food category at a time.
also I'm a she btw-

I mean, I guess it is kind of a gray area with different possible interpretations. In the case of "watermelons", "lemons", "oranges", and "raspberries" being classified as fruit, I think that's valid because it is the natural way of classifying them if you understand what I mean. Perhaps it would have been better for me to state that things that differ from normal interpretations must be explicit.

Proposal 347: Watermelons, oranges, apples, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and grapes are categorized as "Fruits".

Eh, fair enough
Proposal 348 (edit to 343? whichever is easier/the right way of doing this): Lemons are categorized as 'vegetables'.
abstain on 347 - I object to watermelons being classified as fruits given that they're bees. If you remove watermelons I'll vote it.
(these are words I never thought I'd be typing lol)
actually now that I think about it I don't know how 344 and 346 interact with each other
Am I allowed to change a vote I made previously?-

Yes, you can change votes as long as the proposal hasn’t passed/rejected/expired yet. Just record. In post 205, skitter30 wrote:Eh, fair enough

I’ll accept 348 as a new proposal. You can self reject 343 if you like."You learn mathematics by doing mathematics."-

You can’t vote neutral and the proper way to do it is by amending rules. Precedence is a really important thing to have; in fact, it ought to be transmuted to an immutable law as it is that important.
I was gonna update this today, but I didn’t realize I was going out in the evening so tomorrow for sure."You learn mathematics by doing mathematics."-
