is there a way to get hardwood besides just finding it on your farm and the secret woods? i have a hardwood quest but the daily hardwood from the secret woods isn't enough to get there on its own :/

yes it involves me not being bad at the game

it's just annoying because these slimes lunge at you and make you go slower

buy a rare seed & grow it

bring the sweet gem berry or whatever its called to the secret forest and give it to the random statue at the left above the lake

Good food. Crystal Fruit in winter is good, miners treats also good. There's a few other good recovery stuff and Gus usually sends you the recipes.

For surviving better, get defence items and rings. Hammer and Sword is my thing of choice at the moment. Hammer because stun damage glitch, sword because SPEEDY SWIPE.

I'm also trying to take one Skull and Volcano dungeons at the moment.

it's usually an issue when the purple slimes split

the only thing we could buy at the adventurers guild is a lava sword but it's so expensive :/

we should probably try to use food that restores more health at a time but I wanted to use my 70 common mushrooms

You can't retrieve hay if all the feeding bays are full. its weird and crappy because a chest holds so much more than a silo...

I started a new farm (Hilltop) a few weeks ago and decided to woo Abigail.

not only got some iridium ore on like d3 from fishing

but we beat Abigail in the egg hunt first year on a second try :)

gonna gift her the prize we won right before next year's festival lmao

gotta play more when we can but planted too many summer crops and got overwhelmed v_v

Y'all I got 100% completion a couple days ago!!!

We're also in the process of counting how many spots you can put crab pots in (assuming a standard default farm).

Last count was 2166, but we both missed two spots

and

had a few spots underpopulated. (We installed a 'lock crab pots in place' mod to allow us to spam-click the place button so we could place without removing.)
