You misunderstand me Haschel! I'm all about UNO. Every day's a good day for a game of UNO as far as I'm concerned. In post 195, Haschel Cedricson wrote:I will have you know I play a LOT of Uno so take your sarcasm elsewhere. In post 194, Skelda wrote:Now you're speaking my language. We can also play a highstakes game of UNO. Extremely riveting stuff. In post 190, McMenno wrote:monopoly

That's all I can think of right now. Let's make this a great event, and I can't wait to see you all.SOME GAME RULES!
No pregame alliances. Sure, chat with people. We're all friends here. But don't explicitly make any pregame plans with people.
No pregame advantages. I will say it like this: you cannot bring anything with you that will give you an advantage in the game, but anything within the game itself is fair. Example: you cannot bring 50 fake idols with you to fuck with people. But if you find stuff at the meet itself that you want to use to make a fake idol, that's legit.
No bitching. We're gonna have a tight schedule for a day or two and tbh the last thing anyone wants to here is whining about how tired you are. Suck it up soldier, this is Survivor. I promise I'm not going to be mean on purpose but I'm also not letting the schedule get away from us this time. We havefive modsto keep things moving along, trust us, we know what we're doing.
The game is always on.We have plenty of downtime scheduled during the game to try to alleviate burnout this time (more 30 minute breaks in between, longer periods for dinner and after the game ends at night), but even during that downtime, the game is still on. People could still pull each other aside to talk about plans, etc.
We are just leaving those periods of time as basically "free time". And hey, who knows? Playing board games with people may form some strong bonds anyway.
Play to win.Picture this: it's the first morning we're there. You're hungover because you drank too much Friday night like an idiot. You're grumpy because we made you get up before noon. You're whiny. You just want to quit. So you tell people to vote you out and give up so you can lay in bed all day or play board games. This completely cheapens the experience for every other person who came to play. So please -- play your asses off, no matter how hungover you are, because it makes it all the sweeter of a victory for whoever wins and adds to the experience.
Don't be an idiot.Last time Reck got hit with a ton of charges for damages. Some of those were bullshit (like the shower) but others were caused by attendees (the garbage can, the mysterious sheets that got peed on and left in a corner for some fucking reason). I have promised my wife that this won't be a problem at this meet, and if any of you turn me into a liar I will be very angry. The alcohol policy is as follows: beer and wine are fine, anything harder than that is not. Since my credit card is on file with Airbnb I reserve the right to cut people off.

Seriously, someone read my list and let me know which stuff I should bring vs. what others will bring.
