(Technically you could destroy a horcrux with anything that would destroy the vessel beyond repair so a special knife or a bomb could technically be clues but I'd rather go strictly straight from the book lore)

So personally knife is the second one which occurred to me but when I saw chemist say ham it felt normal. Like one of those "ah, is this how normal people do?" moments.
