The reason I have been locktowning NM was because I realised that he was a babysitter. We massclaimed at the start of Day 4, and after that everyone but CC and Carca had claimed. However, CC earlier claimed to be targeted by an announcing Babysitter, and by PoE, I had Carca/NM as the babysitter.

But apparently NM is not a Babysitter CC, NM, what happened here?

RC lied about the loud part. We never got any message.

So, I think it’s between NM and Kokichi. I think we win as long as we lynch there.

TIC is town because they townlocked NM because they believed he was the babysitter. Creature, because of posting. Both are genuinely trying to sort and figure out this game, so the only other possibilities are Kokichi and NM.

NM hasn’t done anything townie but I think scum!him could easily claim babysitter, which we knew would be a lockscum claim but it’s possible that he wasn’t paying attention to that but I think Kokichi is probably the best lynch today and if he flips green, then NM.

What scum motivation does TIC have to townlock NM, if they really believed there was a babysitter in the setup?

Now I'm trying to think about scum utility for message sending and the most impactful scum utilization of a messaging system or role was a message that fooled me at least into thinking one of the scum was town. So I think that's probably the greatest impact, and I'd compare that to a scum neighbor in terms of impact on the game.

You want me to explain the scum utility of having a scum mailman in the setup? I have no idea but in a game, with mail in the title, a scum mailman would make sense. How that role helps scum, I have no clue.

I'm townreading him because players are like "Carca has been so genuine", so I went along with it.

If I disregard that, then I'd be between Kokichi and him for last scum.

what is your take on both Kokichi/TIC hardtown reading NM, and especially TIC locktowning NM, obvtowning you but still being unsure about Kokichi?

It's that feeling where I have someone that must be scum by PoE but checking them individually they aren't particularly scummy, hence why the doubt.

let's work with this in a practical way. Let's say we replace the messengers with neighborizers. that means our setup is:

town watcher
town jailkeeper
town odd-night commuter
town even night neighborizer
town UB
town ascetic tracker
town oddnight neighborizer/VT
3 VTs

I see two things here that make me lean towards Kokichi being the final mafia

• Too much town power in general
  
• odd night commuter kinda clashes with the utility of Kokichi's role if he's town imo. Why no even night commuter?
