In short:
The four day reps are chosen from the winners of the BOONus rounds. Ramcius is the only one in the four who wasnt even in a BOOnus round (the other 3 won BOOnus rounds). So that hints that the scum used their ability to select one scum player to be on the four day representatives.

We'll need more info from tomorrows boonus round to confirm. But Boon did say that "it would become obvious as the game progresses" on how the 4 day reps are chosen. So this theory isn't exactly a stretch.

The way I interpret the factional ability post is that scum can just choose one member of the scum team. It's not obligatory for them to use the ability but if they choose to then they can only pick a scum member.

Day end doesn't have such an effect now, but in a scenario where there are fewer remaining players it's gonna be huge. If scum do well in their bonus games and then use their ability they could control 50 percent or more of the day end vote which would be huge..

I am fully committed to lynching Ram today. But if there is not enough support from the rest of you then how about this.

Since Ram is now on suspicion of being scum, can we agree that he should go ahead and place his End Of Day vote so that it will render his End Day vote less powerful. That or we decide that he shouldn't use it at all and let the other 3 Day Reps decide when they want to end the day?

I think him not using it at all would be most beneficial. This way if he does vote to end the day we can see that as a pure scum claim.
