I would think it more likely that a vig takes a shot at one of the lurker slots as a target. Varsoon gets exposed as a liar, and vig has killed either a scum slot or someone that Town wouldn’t be sad to lose.

Maybe a shot got blocked and the vig doesn’t want to claim but right now all signs point to Varsoon telling the truth here.

I mean I am not convinced and no one has come up with a concrete reason as to why the IC/vig would not counter claim- Varsoon isn’t getting to LyLo or whatever without shooting I guess but right now this is all a distraction

Varsoon simply has to shoot and all is confirmed - we can trade me for his IC status if you’d like but the above/below logic is probably worth testing at the same time


I am going to start making my assessments of the wagons from yesterday in the hydra thread to give FL a shortcut as I feel like this vig issue is starting to become a distraction

Preliminary movement analysis suggests Mewtaph is the Scum protective. No idea if he protects adjacent slots (say 2 up & down) or intercepts the action (i.e. Varsoon's action fails if Mew is between him and his target). Also no idea if Mew also self protects (I would expect him to, but no guarantees).

Creature is scum who moved up to make sure he was close to Mew (just in case someone moved down between them).

Notice that Mew must have always ended above Alch (who says he didn't move) so our move (6 down) could have put us between Mew and Creature if we decided to go down 7 instead of 6.

Anyway, Koki appears to have not moved, but he said he wanted to get as close to the middle as possible. Well, the strange thing is HE IS at the middle (5 above & 6 below is as close as it gets with 12 alive). I imagine what he meant was he wanted to be closer to Mewtaph, but the massive movement from above him downwards messed it up.

I also considered jjh for the protector and Creature just moving up towards him, but then Koki would have no reason to complain as he is as far from jjh as Creature is.

Of course this is all A50 moon!logic production, so feel free to put it to test or ignore completely.

I was happy to go with the Varsoon on day 1 but the longer we go without evidence of his vig claim the more ill want to lynch tbh

I thought STW was scum and I think there will be a clever scum within the people that appeared town - that happened to me before and I’m getting the same vibe

Ok, I'll wait for your analysis. About Varsoon, without a counterclaim, I would just leave it. I get were you're coming from (you were fake dayvigged by scum!Varsoon on OK2 after all), I'm skeptycal about Varsoon's claim too, but regardless the claim, he has been pretty damn townie, so by everyone's favourite principle, the one and only Occam's razor, we should assume his claim is real this time 'cause is counterclaimable (is that a word?) and it hasn't happened.
