I haven't watched the most recent season (or maybe it's two by now? Last I knew,
Ruby was just at that city with her uncle, Weiss was escaping, Yang was training, and iforgethername was gonna take back the family business
), but can say, show started out with potential, got better, and yet, also later dropped to worse IMO. So, a bit of a rollercoaster of quality. Mixed bag.

SPOILERS, WHY?

I kind of agree. This isn't like a big spoiler, but the season after the one you saw she just sits in a room and trains for... the entire season :( :( :(

Show definitely has pacing issues

Seasons 1-2 was goat
Season 3 I need to re-watch but I remember enjoying it
Season 4 was awful
Season 5 was worse
Season 6 not sure how to feel about it but so far I'm enjoying it? Its definitely better then 4 and 5 tho.

I'm pretty much right there with you

Seasons 1-3 were solid, and Season 6 is starting to get the series momentum going again

Season 4 had decent individual episodes but a weak arc, season 5 actually I thought had a decent arc but still had some pacing issues

Oh I hated s5 with a passion. It was a bunch of talking with an awful script, and the part where wiess almost died she should have died but instead lol nope.

Should we take the issues with season 5 to a PT or something so the spoilers aren't that bad for people who haven't seen?

Spoiler: spoilers duh
Ah, end of volume 4. Volume 5 is a little better but it stung personally more than 4. 6 is worth it though.

Volume 1:
Decent opening
Volume 2:
I became interested in the characters, plot, and world.
Volume 3:
AMAZING. OH MY GOD.
Volume 4:
Underwhelming, but had good moments and character development.
Volume 5:
Not as bad as everyone says it is, but it's still my least favorite volume.
Volume 6:
Second best volume to 3 without a doubt; I'm definitely becoming reinvested emotionally after... V5.

I get and agree with a good bit of critique on the show, but I also think a lot of criticism is both non-constructive and picky without clear reason.

I love RWBY, I can't say it's my favorite anime but it's definitely up there.

I know this is a redundant question but if someone were to pick a character from a manga series that has not received an anime adaptation, would you still grain that character pick as long as said character and franchise originated in the 2010s?

Both of you are silly. Houseki no Kuni is best post-2010s anime. It's a fact.

It's getting a bit slow here, but don't worry, the Role PMs will be ready on 29th (my time)!

Forgive me if I don't respond right away. 29th is a day I've been waiting for for 10+ years.
