btw what do you think of slaxx pushing for the no-lynch?

Personally, I've always felt and heard that even a town lynch Day 1 is better than a no-lynch, and i feel Slaxx had to know that nothing was going to change today(Day 2) if there was a no-lynch, so i could see it being scum stalling, but also the fact TGP flipped town and i kinda think slaxx is ~rand town makes me doubt the no-lynch read

I feel Labrat is a good towncore candidate, i've played with him multiple times on this site and on other sites under different names, and i will be absolutely shocked if he flips scum here. He's just been bleeding towny almost this entire game.

What are your thoughts on Darkwing? I feel they have been fairly towny with their posts, but they also seem like they could be powerwolfing trying to take control of the thread with the posts like "These are the people that need to dance" and "these are the people that never dance"

he seems to go from not minding APs lynch to full NL. almost immediately. though ig its possible he gave up hope on an AP lynch

629 is the one i was talking about and looking at 624 its basically just setup-speccing the dances, which isn't that bad IMO


also that would be 596-597 if you are talking about his AP vote, which does make sense that is contradictory.

I think slaxx's end was kinda wierd, because they implied a scumread on McQueen and wanted to dance to "call their bluff" which feels kinda off, and weird because who wants to dance with their scumread ever? just try to get them lynched without dancing with them.

McQueen did try to dance D1, AFTER the gladiate, and danced again today, so he's consistent.

Something that is nagging me is what if they are buddies, and slaxx and McQueen read the posts like "scum would never dance with their buddy" and were like "hey lets dance with each other"
That could also be part of McQueen's Day 1, because he was apparantly the only person who didn't realize he couldn't dance, and he chose slaxx because ???, which could be more distancing.

another addition to this is Slaxx asking where McQueen(specifically) was at EoD.

Notice, slaxx didn't ask if anyone else had posted elswhere on the forums at the time, ONLY MCQUEEN. so why him over everyone?

this is all just tinfoil basically, but its what i love PT's for i can just blurt out whatever comes to my head and discuss it with someone.

After tgp's flip I am less certain how we are supposed to strategize here. I think based on what we know it is still best to keep townies unpaired and ask scumreads to only dance with other scumreads.

Lovers, usually, is primarily negative utility and pts should not make up for that.

I think that's still right... and actually tgp's role makes me think it may be more true. Say there is a pt cop--the neghborhood would then actually be doubling down on negative utility on top of the lover's mechanic.

I'm not sure pt cop is likely here, but I guess I'm trying to figure out why tgp would be able to close a pt as a pro-town role.

How about this... based on what I read in Vedis iso and based on the unbolted “and” in the kill flavor, I expect McQ to flip Anti-town (maybe mafia) here.

He wanted to pair with me yesterday, I’m curious what happens if I call that to see if it’s a bluff.

That kill flavor is really weird, maybe I’m speculating too much but the unbolded and looks like an emphasis.

what do you think about these 2 posts from Slaxx?

The OP specifically states "This game is 10:3, town:Mafia"

and nothing about a neutral or anything of the like.

So slaxx kinda like inferencing that there is a neutral or "non-mafia scum" and wondering about the nightkill flavor seems a bit odd

is it possible mcqueen was bluffing and scum somehow doesnt have a PT? maybe the dance is needed but they have smth to stop the lover or smth?

thats possible, but i doubt scum don't even have a night PT, which then means scum has a day PT.

i mean, think about it, in a normal game scum submits their actions through a PT, so if they have no PT, how do they submit actions as a group?

I was pinged by the fact McQueen assumed day PT, but then when it showed that "all PTs are open 24/7" that means for scum to not have a PT they dont even have a night PT

also with 3 scum that means they cant all be in the same PT if required by dance

is that like a fake townslip? or some sort of soft of like vig or red herring ? maybe even a scumslip. im unsure. but im thinking hes scum or a town tr that involves skill/third party maybe?

the point is, there is no third party this game (if we trust the OP)

so thinking "hmm wierd that nightkill flavor is weird" could come from a killing role

and if there is a vigilante, why would they shoot vedith N1? there were plenty of other targets to choose from, so if there was crosskill why would vig have shot?

so i think its weird that slaxx got confused by the nk flavor. its not strong its just one of those things that make you go "HRMMMM"
