I'm breeding up some of my last needed Pokemon for my Living Dex (almost entirely Pokemon to pair with the Regional Forms in that section of Bank/Home). My 3ds is limping to the finish line with an A button that sticks, a stick that locks up AND lost the finger pad, and a battery that doesn't charge so the 3ds needs to be plugged in at all times, but reaching the finish line nonetheless. It served me well but its retirement looms.

i was gonna boycot sword and shield because of dexit and still mediocre graphics but i think in the end that if id still enjoy emerald if it were released today (and i would!), ods are i can enjoy sword/shield too. breath of the wild and mario oddyssey honestly really hyped me up for a console mainline pokemon game, but a game doesn't need be as perfect as those are to be worth playing.

hopefully devs step up better in further generations though.

Bulbasaur is cut! It's the best kanto starter! And Sandslash! Sandslash is the best pokemon! Charzard is hot garbage. Also I'm doing a skarmory ribbon master run, guess I'll have to start over or hack Skarmory's species. Poor confused Skarmory.

Some of the cuts don't make sense to me (You think they'd have kept one starter line from each gen) but I don't mind them cutting the list heavily tbh. My bigger issue is that it doesn't seem to have come with any additional innovation or different approach to post game.

has been confirmed outright that gamefreak lied when it claimed that dexit was necessary because they had to redo all the pokemon models for swsh
is quite the insult, but also raises the question - why did dexit happen then?
