I am considering VGC this year seeing as I don't want to play cards atm bc I will be spending most cards time on FF.

I will be diving in to ranked singles heavily though. Honestly so keen for GMax Lapras.

That said I think that the meta is heavily evolving at the moment, Greedent being high tier legitimately freaks me out. I feel like Hawlucha has been top threat in testing as it can break WP Ttar. I also feel like Bisharp is going to emerge as strong anti meta to counter Grimmsnarl. Also Bellossom is a niche threat that can deal with many top tier threats like Excadrill and Ttar. Max Defensive Bellossom can 1v1 Gmax Arcanine in Sun.

For VGC I want to see if there is any merit to Togedumaru. I 'think' it is likely the best nuzzle user in the tier with the T Wave nerfs last gen.

really liked this direct. no gen 4 remakes but the new stuff looks pretty neat.

also lmao @ people whining that they're giving pokemon dlc instead of a third game that would probably include less new content.

yeah quite prefer expansion passes over a new game and am glad theyre adding new pokemon as i expected/hoped
this news motivates me to keep playing through the game

Mystery dungeon remakes look cool, I love the art style being based off the sketched style of some of the official artwork. Never played Red/Blue, only Sky, though I did not actually complete it (loved the story but the gameplay only has so much variety for a game as long as it is)

As for sword and shield, I never bought it. Not straight up out of protest but because I really would want all of my Pokémon I've been carrying around for, like, over a decade to be transferred over if I transfer anything over yk. As a result I'm glad to see this dlc comes with a free update adding over 200 old ones to the game that'll be transferable over when Home arrives. If they eventually update the game to allow every old mon to be transferable over and Home isn't too a lot, I might finally actually consider getting it.

Yeah, 100% prefer an expansion DLC over a new game. Not only is it cheaper, I was dreading needing to play through the entire game again to get to the new stuff. (I don't mind the story cutscenes too much. The first time. But needing to run through a slightly modified version of it again was not an exciting prospect) Now, I can load up the expansion and immediately, with no delay, get to the stuff I wanted.

Bellossom with 33% berry can solo Mimkyu, Excadrill, Dracovish, and Ttar.

I was playing some Ultra Sun again and seeing all the little npc side quests makes me realize just how bad Sword and Shield is pre-dlc.
