Hi all! Part of my new year's resolution was to expose myself to more movies I haven't seen before, and watch an average of one a day. To help me achieve this goal, I'm going to crowdsource suggestions. To play, everyone can submit one movie to add to my list, and every few days I'll use dice tags to select one from the list to watch.
You can submit a new movie to the list once every 24 hours, but each user can only have 3 movies on the list at a time.
After each movie, I'll give a short rundown of my thoughts on it, and at the end of 2019 the winners will be whoever submitted my favorite movie and whoever submitted the worst movie (that I enjoyed because it was bad). I won't crown a movie that I'd seen prior to 2019 as a winner. If you submit something like A Serbian Film, I'll watch it I guess, but I won't be happy about it! I'll keep a running list in the OP of things on the list and things I've watched.

I just realized that it'd make much more sense if I included a link in the OP so you can see if I've already watched what you're submitting, so I'm adding that now! Submitting things I've already seen isn't prohibited though, it just isn't likely to win

This was fun! James Bond is one of the franchises I'm the least well-versed in, so I was expecting something that took itself a lot more seriously full of convoluted twists. But Roger Moore is charismatic as hell, and even though he's playing the character pretty straight, there are a lot of winks at the camera that play well (like when he opens a phone booth and finds a corpse, then grabs an "out of order" sign and places it on the body). I was a big fan of the dude with weird teeth named Jaws who fights a shark.
It's certainly a product of its time, and most of the female actors feel like they were cast solely because they were hot. I'm sure the "women drivers" joke played great in 1977. But I'm glad I watched it, I was never bored!
