I'll comment later more about this later when I learn more about noraa as a player.
You should get to know her as a player. Refreshing to play with tbh
I used to have the title "White Knight" for basically similar traits and that title aged poorly
While true, it fit at the time. Many titles have aged badly. That's why we retitle people! It shouldn't stop us from titling them in the first place though.
idunno, this title just reminds me of when I was titled for White Knight.

Sometimes she can win games by doing absolutely nothing.
Let's hit this illusion of "too soon" at it's source quickly.
Firstly, there is no time requirement for being on site to be titled. There used to be one (I think in one of Oman's title fairy threads? Or maybe it was TBM?) when the site was much smaller and insulated. I forget what the minimum time was exactly, but it was either three months or a year, and a year feels excessively long. If it was three months, Noraa's account is older than that.
Secondly, when is "long enough?" How do we define "long enough?" Is there a group consensus for when someone is ready to be titled based on time? Because if not then "too early" is an arbitrary and meaningless phrase at best.
Thirdly, every single time I've seen this pop up it's not used for people who may legitimately by very, very new, but instead used for people who are young and at least a little immature - we aren't titling based on maturity last I checked.
Fourthly, judging a title for someone else based on a title given to you years ago is a very odd way to say that the current suggestion for Noraa isn't fitting for it's intended user or could be improved.

Fine.

thats just
how I feel about it though
its not exactly why I'm anti-noming but like
maybe its not the same but like idunno
the whole thing just doesn't sit right with me
Don't get me wrong, I can see why you feel that way. You have every right to - but I also don't feel like it's an entirely valid argument. Ideally, we can divorce our past from decisions that don't inherently involve us, but that's not necessarily either possible or always a good idea.
Is there a specific reason that this title feel similar to you?
For the record--I feel like the efforts to title Noraa come across as rather forced.
I'm not shutting them down, but so far they're not exactly looking like quality titles to me.

I think this is the best way to describe what I'm feeling

Nora likes to call herself “Noraabear” and she particularly likes polar bears.

We just need to tread carefully because if you slip up around her as scum she notices and will tear your spine out and slap you to death with it. (I'm slightly scared of Nancy)

Norwe is spontaneous, has a stream-of-consciouness posting style, usually posts on catch-ups by commenting on past pages posts, gets rather fired up in certain moments in games, is relatively as playful as me in games and likes casual shitposting
FWIW I would also agree with the sentiment mastina expressed. I wouldn’t necessarily oppose a title for noraa based on tenure, but like, none of the titles so far seem that unique to her or speak to me very much, and seem to respond to relatively generic traits that various other players have. I’d like to see something more unique to her, maybe related to a moment in a game or something else on site
I would tentatively support something to do with chemistry if it worked well with everything else about her, for instance

There is actually a guideline against titling people who are too new. That guideline is vague and arbitrary, as are most title fairy rules, because vague and arbitrary is exactly what the title process is.
With that said, I feel like Noraa is probably well established enough to deserve a title if there's a title to fit her, but neither the Tsunami thing nor the Conftown thing really encapsulate her imo. I could definitely see something along the lines of cub given that my impressions of Noraa have been that she plays up gimmicks and cuteness a lot, and not in an annoying way. She also seems to have a habit of talking about herself in the third person? iirc someone compared voting noraa to kicking a puppy and she does like to play up her innocence, so I could see a possible title coming from that angle.
nominate Norwee for the title “Survivor” because I think it would be incredibly funny to officially give him a title but for it to functionally change nothing about his profile

oh come on, that's not fair.
He's been a good boy. We can do that to him if his misbehaves some more *cackle*

I, for one, have no idea what you’re talking about
