Our rising star this year is someone who wasn't selected for any one reason, but for many reasons. They are, of course, a respected mafia player who is considered strong as both alignments. They have a high winrate as both alignments and were nominated for another mafia play scummy as well. But they are also a well loved player, who was represented in 12 players and a mod as one of the most liked mafia playing 'Scummers. They also have penetration outside of the mafia sphere, appearing frequently on sitechat and participating in the discussion forums. Their presence on the site is so valued that scummers Mathdino and RadiantCowbells once fought over which of them was the user that got them 'into' Mafiascum, as it were.

But in spite of all that, they're pretty terrible. Just awful. Honestly, they're kind of the worst. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
