You're thinking about me saying maybe and tris trolling as scummy behaviour but you fail to see that town don't need to look towny. Scum do. Unless you have very confident scum players, you should assume that behaving explicitly scummy is actually a sign of a player being comfortable in a town alignment.

Scum tend to jump on overtly scummy behaviour rather than think about the intent.

I can see why Tris & LuckyOtter are at the top, their questioning seems to feel more natural but why Porkens and Parachutes, I’m not getting much from them despite their postings.

I liked Parachutes from the start because he kept messing up his posts which is ever so slightly indicative of town to me.

I then felt a bit concerned because he seemed a bit more placid and question-y than I'm used to. His response explained why urap's style might come across as strange to me. I'm fine taking his word for it since I want to townread him anyway.
