PB, what's your timetable for buying the items? I usually get the wings if a store pops up when I'm very near to 80 (say, still under 90) coins, but if I have more, then I just wait for the bronze hammer. Then I get the wings.

But by level 10, it's really useful to have the penultimate hammer to kill the bomb-heads in one shot. Do you just make it through there, or do you somehow get that hammer beforehand?

My most effective schedule for a while was wings, silver hammer, container heart, gold hammer(Not that I ever got the gold hammer on this schedule, but I would've had I made it that far).

What I've been trying lately is Gold Hammer, wings, container heart, because once I get the gold hammer I can actually increase my coin intake by hitting coin-thieves, so theoretically this is the fastest way to get everything. But only once on this schedule have I ever gotten all 3 items ( Naturally the computer I was on shut down. Darn libraries computers; I was in it for the long haul.).

The schedule I used when I got my highest score ever was wings, gold hammer, and then I got so bogged down buying hearts that I never got anything else.

This morning I got to lvl 8 and towards the end the tree finally came up. I got the wings, bronze hammer, heart container, and all my hearts filled. A few more keystrokes and lvl up!. Sweet. I was so finally going to have a decent score to brag about. And then...

Lvl 9 started with something in all nine holes. A couple were red, a few were green, yes there were various blue things. Some of these were swinging their maces and of course the yellows were ducking and covering there heads as some numbers popped up on the screen. I froze for what seemed like forever. In a last minute desperation play I mashed a few keys and all the various colored thing sank down below the screen.
Game Over.

I won't be playing again for a while...

Wow. You must have had a lot of coins!! I can never buy all those by level 8 .

I finally made it to level 10 yesterday. I don't think those bomb-headed guys are very nice at all.

Level 10 is the limit for me too. I hardly ever buy wings.. I am too slow anyway

LOL. I don't even want to know... My high score now is aroung 18,000, but I haven't made it that high since...

I can't seem to get enough coins fast enough to get the gold hammer before the game is over, so I now stick with the silver one, so I can at least get the bomb heads with one hit. I generally want to have an upgraded hammer before the red guys start twirling their maces!

Right now I go for the silver hammer when I can afford it and then it's trying to stay alive and buying hearts if the store ever shows up in time...

It took me six tries. By that I mean, six non-random tries. Writing down the order I added the items and noting the interactions and final lvl's.

I am positive there are multiple solutions.

Yeah, most of them involve swapping the first 4 pieces around. No real differences, though it is fun to make the volcano and lightning-alien-thing.

I got to level 11 in Tontie once. It just repeated level 10. I think it continues to do that ad infinitum.

I keep getting around 14000 with the wings and 400 coins but no shop appears (has happened 3 times give or take 25 coins)

There is an interesting flaw where if the shop is the last "thing" on a level you will get no more things popping up. These empty levels go on and on...

35.1 feet on vanillia, have solved grow, but my only accomplishment in tontie is to ask if anyone else plays with both keypad and normal numbers. Seems easier for my brian to keep my right hand doing spacial things and the left responding to the eyes.
