Ok, glad that part's over. Not sure why I care but I'm disappointed/stunned we couldn't get 5/5 agreement on that.

btw Shos is sort of cleared no matter what. Either Vork is town and cleared him, or Vork is scum and Shos is still pretty much clear, because Vork/Shos won't both be scum. The only way it's town Vork and scum Shos is if we made bad assumptions about the role, like Vork was worried.

nomnomnom, Chemist and PMysterious were Secret Death Millers(Day:Mafia Goon, Night:Vanilla Townie), aligned with the town, and lose.

Iconeum and Doctor Drew were Death Masons, but the rest of their flips was correct. They lose.

The medium only recieved nightmares and good dreams, and only if a majority of dead people would have ever voted for a combination via PM which... never happened.(Yes, you all didn't read precisely, did you? It says "if the majority

agrees

" right there.

The flips of Baezu and RCEnigma were correct, they were the only true Vanilla Townies.

Korina cheated and broke the site's game rules about not communicating outside the game(they communicated via changing their location in their profile).
Oh, and they lost - obviously.

Needless to say, it was an uphill battle for town when their only strong power role who wasn't supposed to be removable got themselves modkilled - with consent of the list mods of course - and it broke part of the game because the dead were no longer able to influence the game until the end of the game, which they otherwise would have.

I am also sorry for the error in judgement I made - I should have planned to tell you that there's dead interaction from the beginning. Not that it influenced the game this much....
And... if you play a bastard game, or indeed, any game that isn't a normal game read things, especially mod PM's and the rules... carefully. Otherwise... you might miss something!

Yeah sorry guys, I really wanted gameplay to be town so that's how I played it.


I had some things wrong. Shos was cult?? Does that explain why last day Chickadee felt wrong? Like really not aiming to help the town.

I assumed Korina was VT and that all VTs were death millers if lynched but not if NKd. And that all VTs could vote from beyond the grave and send dreams to Iconeum, but nobody ever wanted to. I assumed THIS was how the setup was meant to be balanced: Dead VTs would still control the game and expose the millerness to Iconeum.

Was I supposed to know anything about being a godfather? Vork and I were not sure how we would flip if lynched.

No, they were a townie who would have flipped Cult upon death(shos). All death millers were aligned with the town.

With Chickadee-Shos aligned that would be really dicey.

The public wincon of the cult was indeed gain majority.
The hidden wincons were two:
One for a team of 2+ converts, control 50% of the vote with mafia dead
One for a lone convert, survive until endgame.
The lone convert was not considered a threat to town or mafia, two converts were.

The Cult could only recruit death millers, and the death miller(cult) only if that one was the only applicable one.
And the Cultifier WOULD if possible, recruit every night until game end(or running out of death millers), actively targeting only recruitables, so it was right to lynch them.
So yes, Chickadee was one of the five original death millers(NK:VT lynch:Mafia Goon)

The obvious bastard roles were the six death millers(one for Cult, 5 for Mafia, but only at day) and the Cultifier.

and probably... korina. Well, I am mad about that, at least. That clear-cut chase of cheating by korina - as the most powerful role of the entire game, aligned with the town, supposed to be able to influence the game until the end... - obviously distorted the game.

The bad thing here is that if Drew's optimal play is supposed to be to get lynched then, jester concerns aside, one should not expect any cult to be recruited in this setup.

Vork and I assumed PM was probably a death miller, and not a traitor or something. But we could never tell the town anything like that. And I think town could never speculate about it because it would leave no means to try to hunt scum.

which would have left you with a very slightly townsided setup, probably.
After all, the power of the Medium was limited to be known by the dead as Town(so the Medium claim was confirmed town for them), and to recieve thoughts o f the dead about alignment.
