Voting and Lynching:

A player is lynched when the majority votes the same player. Once the player is lynched, the lynchee and the living players may talk until I get back and post the flip.
If the deadline is reached before the lynch has reached, the day will end with
No Lynch
, unless mentioned otherwise.
If you're nightkilled, you may post one information-less "bah" post.
If the game reaches endgame and I'm not around yet to resolve it, dead players may not post until I finish resolving the endgame.

The vig should not necessarily use their shot immediately, but it should be publicly so that they're confirmed to be the vig, and thus town. And thus should get lynched.
sounds like the way town wins is if the town lynches only town, and the vig uses their shot on town. vig should probably shoot today or tomorrow while the odds of them hitting town are higher.
the vig claiming and confirming themselves by shooting town guarantees us at least 2 confirmed town deaths, their shot and the vig. a confirmed vig doesn't have to be immediately lynched though, they can be lynched later in the game for a confirmed town lynch and in the meantime help steer the game.

I guess the question is how do we determine who to lynch. The only difference between vanilla town and mime is that the mimes are informed, and want no-lynches to happen. Otherwise our path to a win condition is the same.
So... yeah, if i got this correct, and from rauth posts it looks like i am, we must lynch/shoot our best guesses at town targets.

By the way i agree with the vig thing. No scum kills and no roleblocks/etc makes it a safe claim which is also confirmable so there's no reason to doubt it on a counterclaim
It guarantees the shot happens on town though. At LYLO the mimes will control almost half of the votes, so it might become necessary to use it in that way.

Well technically the vig shot just accelerates the game, since he could misvig a mime in the same way we may mislynch a mime
But it does confirm the vig being town, so it's still 1 confirmed town more than if he doesn't shot. Waiting to shot helps the vig "aim" better based on progression, etc
Also yeah, a selfvote doesn't confirm anything but if i had to vote my best townguess it's a no brainer, and i was wondering why no one thought of this?
So, change of plans, we'll lynch the vig on LYWIN. We could also have three other players to volunteer to never get lynched as long as a mime isn't killed. I guess I'll be one of them so I can explain how that works later on in the game.
Also, I think I just figured out how to break the setup.
