Large Normal 225 | Creature Writes Shitty Flavor - Game over

"This is the experiment", said the older scientist standing triumphantly.

"What experiment", asked the younger confused scientist.

The older scientist grabbed the blanket covering the experiment and removed it, revealing a minuscule Manhattan-sized city surrounded by ocean and consisting of multiple skyscrappers inside a large circular aquarium. The younger scientist was left in awe.

"This is the human civilization, but in small scale. As I said before, this is where I like to test large scale disasters", said the older scientist, "it seems they have recovered pretty well from that time I bombed them with small meteories two years ago", continued the older scientist in disdain as some flying cars were visible.

"What are you planning to do with them?", asked the younger scientist.

"Let me see: I already did tsunami, hurricanes, famine, nuclear disasters...", answered the scientist, "but this time I have something bigger in mind, that should attack them mentally".

"What is it? What is it?", repeated the younger scientist in interest.

The two scientists stared each other. When the younger scientist read the older scientist's expression, his mood immediately changed.

"Wait, you can't put your life problems on them!", exclamed the younger scientist.

"Of course I can, this is my experiment", responded the scientist offended, "I'm gonna fetch for my notepad, you stay here and keep an eye on them".

The older scientist left the room, leaving the younger scientist alone with the experiment. The younger scientist grabbed a microscope and viewed the city through it. There was a large slime-like population walking silly and happily through the limestone streets. The younger scientist removed the cover of the aquarium and told them:

"Now you all shall see what is a real disaster"

Rules

(Shamefully plagiarized and adapted from this handsome guy)

Do's and don'ts

Do:
  • Follow the site rules here.
  • Play to win.
  • Be respectful.
Actually screw this rule. This is a fucking mafia game, just go for each other's throats. I want to see blood. Just...don't make others want to replace out of the game.

  • Be active.
Seriously, I hate prod-dodgers and non-contributers with a burning passion. I like to kill them, donate their organs to someone more useful and use the remains for fertilizers. Just think about the others who actually dedicate to the game.

  • If you have questions about your role, ask them by PM.
  • Also use mafBlack because, OH MY GOD, the other themes suck ass."
Don't:
  • Don't discuss ongoing games.
  • Don't copy, quote or screenshot your role PM, mod communications or anything that isn't public.
  • Don't pretend to break the rules.
    Seriously, don't try it.

  • Don't use very small, invisible or encrypted text.
  • Don't write your posts almost entirely with the
    teal color
    .
Actually feel free to because this is freedom of speech, just don't use it to maliciously impersonate me.

Game flow

Deadlines
  • Day 1 will last 10 (real life) days and subsequent days will last 7 (real life) days.
Yes, it's a lot, but don't dork about it.

  • Nights will last 2 (real life) days.
  • Night will end earlier if every single alive player requests to end the night.
  • If you don't submit your night action, I'll take it as a no action unless it's a compulsive action.
  • I'll only extend the deadline if it's about to end and I need replacements.
Voting
  • All votes must be done with vote tags or bold tags, like VOTE: Someone or
    vote: Someone
. If it looks like a vote, it'll be counted.
  • You may also vote nolynch.
  • A majority is reached if more than half the players (x>50%) have voted the same player/nolynch.
  • If the deadline ends, the player (nolynch included) with the highest number of votes will be lynched.
    Screw nolynches.

  • If there's a tie, the player who held the higheest total votes most recently will be lynched. Example: If player A has five votes, player B has three votes and someone unvotes player A to vote player B, Player A would be lynched.
  • Only if there's no way I can break the tie (no votes being made the entire dayphase) it'll end in a default nolynch.
    Please, don't try it.
Note: I won't edit your posts.
Learn from your mistakes.

Activity

Prods
  • If your last post was over 2 days ago, you will be prodded.
  • If your last post was over 1 day since being prodded, I'll starting searching your replacement. You may return into your slot.
  • If you're prodded twice the same dayphase or three times the entire game, I'll automatically search for your replacement. You may not return to your slot unless I'm really desperate.
  • I won't tolerate "sorry i was busy im gonna catch up" posts. Make a real fucking post.
V/LAs and Replacing
  • V/LAs must be announced in PMs and they must be at least 3 days. Remember to set V/LA in your profile because I may miss them.
  • By announcing V/LA, I'll extend your prodtimer to 96 hours rather than 48 hours.
  • If you absolutely can't post anything in over 96 hours, you may want to talk with me. You may need to replace out.
  • Consider voluntarily replacing out if you won't play (either because you can't or you don't feel like playing).
Yes, this is a great tip if you ain't playing at all.
Note: No replacing back.
They'll be no escape for you!!!

Setup info

  • Plurality lynch is enabled.
  • Daytalk is enabled.
  • Setup is confirmed to be
    Town
    vs
    Mafia
    .
    Thank god

  • One single mafia member can use factional kill and their night action the same night.
  • At least one player should have the following role PM:
NAMEWelcome,
NAME
!
You are a
Vanilla Townie
.
You have your voice and your vote and no other abilities.
You win when the Mafia have been removed or nothing can prevent this from happening.

Just finished sending all role PMs. Confirm you've read them by PMing me back what's your ability, the fifth word of your win condition or the name of your great-granddaughter.

You have (expired on 2019-12-19 18:00:00) to do that.

I'll start day 1 when 80% have confirmed or the timer ends.

EDIT:
One partridge in a big pear tree confirmed
Two turtle doves confirmed
Three french hens confirmed
Four calling birds confirmed
Five golden rings confirmed
Six geese laying confirmed
Seven swans swimming confirmed
Eight maids milking confirmed
Nine ladies dancing confirmed
Ten lords leaping confirmed
Eleven pipers piping confirmed
Twelve drummers drumming confirmed

and that concludes 12 confirmations of Christmas

Behind the Religion

Street JH711, house A-155. That was the address I was given to fulfill my job. And there was the street JH711, one of the multiple streets in one of the poorest zones of the city.

It was one of the countless workers' streets that were formed when the wage disparity between low workers and employers grew astronomically. Although it was dark, I could see it was made of overtaken asphalt designed only for busses, lacked basic resources such as light and proper electrical wiring. Looking from there, it was quite sad.

In order to keep the workers motivated, the wealthiest members of the society designed one "miraculous" religion. The most faithful reported to have found money scattered in their backyard and were told by the religion leaders it was a result of their faith, hence why the Universarian got so known.

My job was supposed to throw the money in their backyard. Whoever lived in the house A-155 would be another witness of the "miracle". I just had to be quick.

I grabbed the loan of thousands, enough to call it a "miracle", and threw multiple chunks into the backyard carelessly. They would call it a miracle anyway.

However, I was surprised with the front door opening in the witching hour. I immediately ran away for my car, hoping they have not noticed, but they probably did. I knew what would be the consequence if words got out, because I already was in their spot before I replaced my now deceased predecessor.

I needed to silence them in some way. When I calmed myself, I showed up at house A-155 before they would go to the Universarian temple. This time I was ready to fix it, for good or for worse.

I had to knock on the fragile wooden door. An older woman showed up and handed me the loan of money back.

"You have lost this", said her humbly.

"No, it's yours", I wanted to tell her, but the fear for my life stopped me. It was better she thought it was just an accident. So I just took the money and left.

"May the Lord be with you!", I heard her.

The next day I returned to reward her with the same loan and an extra loan. It wouldn't help her much, but it was the most I could hand. Though, I had to convincer her to take it.

"This...this feels like a miracle", said her after I convinced her to accept it, "but it's so different from what I hear".

"Some miracles are different", said I.

Damn, I thought, what was I doing? I had to tell her about it!

"Thank you, kind sir!", she thanked, "I knew the Lord would hand me, not money, but the gentle company of someone who cares for that old woman".

I smiled. But I knew It wasn't a miracle at all. I had to tell her, tell her she was fooled, that she had a wrong belief, that...her action back then was for nothing? That her hopes meant nothing? No, I couldn't!

"May the Lord be with you!", that was all I said before walking away. Should I have told her?

It’s a relatively new thing. I don’t think I have any completed games with starting out that way.

A year ago, in the same spot I claimed I was a SK.

I won that game as SK.
