I think Starry Night is easily the best of the ones I'm familiar with and I'm pretty sure I'm clear of participation bias on that but the playerlist alone says Undertale might be really really good and people definitely talk about it a lot.

Normally I'd be able to tell you this but full disclosure; this year when it came to finalists I didn't get most of my votes in and didn't get to advocate for those that I most strongly believed deserved the award--so a partial answer; because scummies judging hit me at the shittiest possible time where I couldn't contribute to the judging, but beyond my negligence, DUE to said negligence, I wouldn't know since I'd need to read all of the discussions that I should've read and contributed to but didn't.

I'm reading swaths of Vengeful Ghosts but it's hard to be unbiased and not either vote the one I played or overcorrect.
It looks like no player played in both games, even though they were not concurrent and Starry Night was a large. Wow. FakeGod played one and modded the other though.
