the setup was really interesting. we hit jackpot day 1 which was insane. this game was full of luck. truly.
if we hadn't hit doc day 1, it could've ended very differently.

That being said, I feel the set-up is pretty town-favor. 2 solid doctors and 2 investigates while the scums are all pseudo-goons. I guess I like the concept that we have to be creative with our claims and utilize the superior knowledge we have to solve the set-up before town, then lead them to a dark forest. Would have loved to have a role-blocker on our team to at least have the courage to NK an enabler though (would you waste NK on a claimed enabler knowing there are two docs out there protecting him?), or someway of detecting the "macho" modifier.

Most of Town's power was in the Doctor trio. And you had the perfect resources in finding and destroying that trio. Otherwise, it was essentially two half cops and the rest vanilla.

Two docs is a big gambit honestly. It could go extremely well or extremely terribly.

I feel like there's not really an in between.

Like either scum finds them and basically kills both in one strike or scum never finds them and gets kicked in the ass for it.

The setup was honestly scum-sided if anything. The doctor duo + Macho Enabler was probably the stronger portion of the Town, and Mafia had the perfect utility to find and stop that. Outside of that it's literally just two half-cops that aren't really that effective if Mafia claim well enough and/or play well enough. Remember both the Mafia and the Doctors have no idea that the Enabler was Macho unless they claimed. Scum has a much higher chance of successfully killing if they WIFOM rather than Town WIFOMing due to that modifier.

I agree that the setup is mafia-sided on the basis that the second you put two doctors in any game for the first time, town are just going to eat themselves.
