In this setup? optics. You hammer town prematurely you look bad. have to work your way up to it. Plus plenty of times I've seen scum stay off a wagon on town they figured would go through anyway.

But I don't find the way nora pushed on gamma to be very honest looking at all.

I do have thoughts.

1408 isn't a scummy post, but it is wrong on a few major points and while it's obvious it's playstyle differences, SuperBowl is definitely the oitlier.

Superbowl is trying to win the war without fighting any battles. He doesn't want to argue the small stuff because if it doesn't fit into the bigger picture he doesn't see the point.
This assunes scum come into the game with an overarching plan and that their posts will all work towards that endgoal. But that's not how it works. Scum respond to things, sometimes in a scummy manner. Scum push their endgoal, sure, but often badly or opportunisticly. Superbowl tried to AtE me off of him earlier using the reason that he was hurt I thought so little of his scumgame as to scum read him here. That is not the case.

As well, he is painting it as me coming to a conclusion then finding points to support it. That's literally not how it happened though??
I called him town inthread, but as I read on, I noticed scummy posts and positions and pointed them out.

If Superbowl had engaged me on the smaller points it may have changed my mond. Their refusal to even now leaves me unmoved. As I say, it may be a playstyle difference, but I have to treat it the way it looks to me. Which is scummy.

Nah an appeal to emotion means you must be trying to use an emotional argument to convince someone. When Ari said I ATEd him, my aim was not to make him say "wow yes I do feel bad for underestimating super's scumgame, time to flip my read around!", or when I say time to self hammer I'm not trying to convince anyone to do anything, just saying what my feeling on the situation is.

As I say, I think this comes down to playstyle differences and while that sucks, it still left you the best option for the day.

I think the associatives we get from your flip will be telling, and any counterwagon at this point woumd have not onlt given us little to work from, but also would have left you to probably be eliminated D2 or strung along until D3 based on continued suspicions thrown out about you.

It was the best overall elim.
