Hello, adventurers. I am Haschel Cedricson, eccentric billionaire. I recently have come into possession of this treasure map that claims to lead to the legendary Hidden Temple. I have heard that you twelve are the best explorers-for-hire in this part of the world and as such I am hiring you all to help me retrieve the treasures from within. Of course, you will also get a share of the treasure! Be careful, though; the legends say that the temple guards are dedicated to stopping anybody from finding the Hidden Temple and its rumored that they even will send out guards to infiltrate expeditions like this one! Gee, I sure hope that doesn't happen here!
SET-UP SUMMARIZED
This game consists of eight explorers and four temple guards. The town is divided into six teams, each designated with a color and an animal. Any given team may contain 0, 1, or 2 temple guards. Teammates may converse at any time. Temple Guards may converse at any time.
There are no nights, and eliminations will work based on the Challenge system, as elaborated below.
RULES

1. Enjoy yourself.
2. Everybody is allowed to talk to their partner at any time. Temple Guards may also talk to each other at any time. No other outside-the-thread communication between players is acceptable.
3. No quoting mod PMs or direct quotes from a private topic.
4. If I botch something, let me know and I will fix it.
5. No jackassery. If you have to ask yourself if something counts as jackassery or not, the answer is probably "Yes".
6. This is a nightless game, so I'm not quite sure what to do about deadlines. I mean, ending the day and going on to the next day doesn't actually effect anything. So let's agree to not be jerks by intentionally stalling the game for no reason.

9. At the beginning of each day, the eligible pool of players who can be eliminated will be empty. As such, I won't bother keeping track of votes until a challenge is issued.
10. Any player may issue a challenge at any time, but only one challenge overall can be issued per day. To make a challenge, post in bold

.11. Once a challenge has been issued, the pool of players who can be eliminated will expand to include up to four names: the team that was challenged and the team that issued that challenge. Remember, once a challenge has been issued the game will not move on until one of those players is eliminated.
12. For your vote to be counted, it must be bold, and in the form
vote: playername
. The colon is optional.13. You MUST unvote before changing your vote. Again, unvotes must be bold to count.
14. An elimination will occur at n/2 + 1 votes, rounded down to the nearest integer, where n is the number of votes currently in play. Day will end with the elimination.
15."No Elim" is not an option. The gods of the Hidden Temple demand blood.
16. If an elimination occurs, then the game enters ‘twilight’, where all alive players are allowed to freely converse (but not allowed to cast any votes) until I lock the thread and post a death scene.
17. Once you are dead, you are free to make one “bah” post, but nothing more.

18. Treat this game as a commitment, and try your best to stay active. If you will be unable to participate for a period longer than 3 days, please PM me or post in thread.
19. Failure to remain active throughout the game will result in your replacement with my discretion. Try to post at least once every 72 hours.
20. The Moderator Promise: I will do my best to post a vote count every 24 hours or at the start of a new page. Understand that I can't make vote counts when I'm at work, so give me a little leeway.

You win when the Hidden Temple is completely unguarded.
At least, that is what you are pretending to be. In actuality, you belong to a secret society that has vowed to protect the Hidden Temple at all costs. By disguising yourself as an explorer, your duty is to guard the Hidden Temple and make sure the treasure remains undisturbed. Your fellow guards are NAME1, NAME2, and NAME3, and you may talk to them at any time at PRIVATETOPIC LINK.
You win when the number of temple guards is equal to the number of explorers.
