Lately, as everyone surely knows by now, mith’s creation mafiascum.net/forum has undergone some changes recently. A wave of younger, more immature members rode in with their bright hot rods and smug, anonymous, and jaded badass attitudes, while the older and more traditional members of mafiascum sat on their high horses and complained about the new kids on the block as inoffensively as possible.
As with any power struggle these days, insults and drama are high, good taste and class are low. Not many people seem to realize that what everyone and everything boils down to is childish arguing; arguing over nothing. How can anyone accomplish anything if they’re arguing over nothing?
All of the hubbub and drama have caused the entire website to lose something. No, not key members like AutumnEvenings (who the hell was that person anyway?), and not an excellent forum to play mafia with other skilled players. It definitely didn’t lose any purpose, and if anything, it gained life and vivacity. Surely intelligence is not lost, as new and innovative ways to play are still being conjectured every day. Nay; instead, what this place lost, was a sense of humor (among other things; their minds, for example, when the decision was made to keep Thok as the title fairy, or when “cocks” continued to be suggested as an appropriate title). Nobody’s funny anymore, and nobody’s trying to be funny. It sucks. And so does mafiascum.net/forum.
So, let’s bring this shit to light. No more running this pointless discussion into the ground. It’s time for the dregs of the internet to battle it out with each other in a celebrity theme-parked deathmatch. It’s…
