the way i see it is, there are three possibilities:

1. schiavetto is town that doesn't give a shit and just snapvoted
2. schiavetto is scum who voted datisi because he's their most plausible path to victory
3. schiavetto is scum with datisi and attempting a goofy white flag gambit to psych me or isis into voting n_m

i think, given that isis and i had both expressed suspicion of datisi prior to today and certainly seemed still willing to go there, that third possibility seems the least likely, along with some of the d1 interaction stuff. i'm willing to lose to that if he really did make some bigbrain play. i'm not willing to lose to a lollurker team.

yeah exactly. it doesn't make sense that schia snapvotes me then lurks out and gives up. that's what's giving me pause. *why* isn't schia pushing me? he's playing a losing game. the problem here is that it's a losing game for him only if it's schia/n_m.

also! fun thing: since you have not hammered, the only way this can be wrong is if the team is exactly me/schiavetto and i am waiting for schiavetto get back online and hammer before isis second guesses

but in that configuration, schiavetto can only be the goon and i would have to be exactly the joat! and funny enough, i had an argument waiting for why i am not the joat. you see, whoever is the joat was burning through abilities like there was no tomorrow, which is precisely NOT what i would be doing as joat. you see, the joat's abilities all get better the later in the game you are, and as scum, i would be looking to endgame. i am very good at it. so at a minimum, i would probably be trying to hold on to a roleblock in case there is a situation in late game where it is necessary. no way do i ever play joat that way.
